Hello, Maria, and welcome! I started wa-a-a-ay back last Aug.

on the first version of the MVP (blue) and really, really liked it. Six days later went to my first vape meet and won the grand prize of a ProVari (standard satin silver). Love using both.
Two mos. later was my birthday, and hubby gave me another ProVari (mini bronze) and a version 2 of the MVP (black) per my request. Now I have backups for my backups.
So far, I've only counted that first blue MVP in my budget as the rest were gifts, and our 37th wedding anniversary is later this month. Bet you can make a pretty good guess at what I want for my gift!

I don't need but want a polished mini ProVari.....It IS cheaper than a good piece of gold jewelry and IS a whole lot more useful! Why I'm being practical !!!
My experience has been only with the two devices which have never given me a problem. There are pros and cons about each which are endlessly hashed out on this forum. Mainly that the ProVari is too expensive and the MVP must be replaced every year. You cannot go wrong buying either one. It just depends on your budget and what you are comfortable with.
I bought the first MVP because I wasn't intending on quitting the smokes but use this vaping thing as a temporary measure during a 10 day visit to non smoking relatives. After 53 yrs at 2 PAD figured I'd be buried with my cig pouch in my hand. After several days of vaping without the urge to smoke, I'm dancing in the kitchen in front of my boiling tea pot! Holy cow! It works! I do believe I would have asked for the ProVari for my birthday present had I not won the first one because I needed one that took batteries instead of replacing the whole thing, AND you never go wrong relying on the "gold standard."
