The built-in protection circuitry is SUPPOSED to limit firing to ABOVE ONE (1) OHM.....
However....I've read where some have been able to use coils as low as .7 ohms....NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
If you want to go sub-ohm you'll need to use a mod with high-drain batteries (AW IMR 18650, et al)....
And KNOW OHM'S LAW LIKE THE BACK OF YOUR HAND!!!!
Back to the MVP v2.....I use 1.8-2.0 ohm coils that I wind myself with 32ga. A-1 kanthal wire on a 3/64" arbor...cotton wick...
In a Protank 2/Mini....I find the vape incredible!!
If you're not into winding your own....BE SURE to get GENUINE coils for the brand of tank/clearo system you have....
Clones have a bad reputation of being DOA....the "genuine"s can be kinda hit-or-miss, too.. I find "Genuine" Kanger coils can vary as much as .2-.3 ohms in a 5-pack!!:( The main reason I started winding my own!!:D
Good Luck!
Happy (vaping) Trails!
