Hello I have been looking for an upgrade to the Evod I use. Have also been reading the advice and information in this forum More specifically the problems with the Evod batteries and tanks. Unfortunately I currently use an Evod and have had those problems only with the leaking tanks. Also I read that new or experienced vapors the MVP2 is highly recommended. So I went to a local store mentioned I was looking for a pass through and yet again the MVP was instantly recommended. So without futher ado I purchased an Innokin itaste MVP 2 with an Iclear 16B clearomizer in the package for £49.99 and am quite amazed and surprised about the abilities of this product, including knowing via a scratch panel whether I have a genuine product, which I do have.

Mow my question is I do not fully understand about the combination of vv/vw, vv I am aware of and know how to use but the vw is something new to me can any one advise me on the recommended vw setting. The retailer recommended that I use 4.2 vv as I use 18mg liquid.

You can't use vv and vw at the same time. The MVP is in one mode or the other.

VW is very similar to VV in how you use it; start relatively low, and crank it up until you get to where you like it.

Can't recommend a specific setting; it depends on what head you're using. The iclears aren't the greatest heads, IMHO.....

Welcome to ECF! Great choice on the MVP!! Of course you only use one or the other, not both. I prefer VW. You just start out low, like 7 watts, and increase until you start to taste a burnt taste then drop back down a notch or two. I do most of my vaping between 7.5 and 8.5 watts using MPT's and Kayfuns. By the way, your power setting really has nothing to do with what nic level your juice is and I would think 4.2 v would be too high for most clearos.

VV and VW are kind of two ways to get the same place.....

Somoene will probably link you a calculator, or there are apps available for smart phones where you can put in your ohms and it'll spit out the volts or watts based on the other number.

voltage = heat
wattage = throughput of power

when you adjust one, the other also moves.

more watts is more heat but also more oomph, so more vapor. This can be good or bad depending on your tastes, and the ability of your topper to wick juice to the coil.

My advice is: mess with it and find out what you like best for each flavor of juice, because not all are created equal. I could give you a better idea of where to start if I knew your Ohm rating. Just start low and step up until you find your sweet spot.
