Working on it over in REF but when done I will post everywhere. (Attempting to answer friends questions, they are all health freaks...)

I have been reading the health sub forum and am curious myself as a few flavor ingredients could have harmful effects.

So far I will personally stay away from anything:1) non-kosher (non-crude-oil non-animal) 2) PEG 3) Human dna HEK-Cell 4) Corn Derived sugars and starch 5) Asportate 6) Coloring.

Can't wait to see your results!

It will take some time... To get the info, then put it into a readable format... I'm thinking about a spreadsheet. With presumed safe ingredients on the left working hazards to the right. First column would be original manufacture, second column flavor, third column medium(if flavor is not locked into a medium like VG/PG/PEG/H20/Alcohol it looses its potency by oxidation and vaporization).

Most cream or butter flavors have Diacetyl in them, admittedly only trace amounts and they are not heavy use flavors in mixes, but is something everyone should know so they can decide for themselves if they want to risk it

Diacetyl is listed as a cause of a lawsuit involving Pop-Corn manufacture workers claiming respiratory distress.

Good one to add to the more hazardous side. Thanks. (Note this substance is naturally found in many places but when inhaled it causes distress in high levels.)

Is there a substitute for this additive or is it the safest way to get cream/butter/butterscotch/beer flavors?

My step son has decided to try vaping!

We had him over for dinner tonight, and afterward him and I had a long discussion about his interest and about vaping technique, equipment, etc. He kind of liked my Reese's, but thought it didn't have much taste. I told him his taste buds were muted from smoking, but that would change. He was interested in tobacco flavor of course, so I got out a bottle of my favorite I still had from when I started and loaded up an Mt3. (Yuck to me now) He really liked it. :toast:

I just ordered an ego twist starter kit (2 twists & 2 clero's & charger) and some tobacco flavors for him from MVS.
(He is not a techie geek like me so I kept it simple) :2cool:

If you pray, pray for him to get off the smokes while he is still in his 20's. :nun:
