Ello all.:) Chking in ECF b4 I get to bed.

Sorry Mogi. I bet you loved that EVIC something fierce.
I imagine you would have no trouble selling it as-is.

I dropped my only ever VV (VTube 1st gen) so many times, and fixed it so many times, that I had to resolder everything!
Both ends to the 510 connector and the wires to the board.
For the board job, I had to buy a new solder iron with a needle tip just to get the wires back on. The genius who engineered the board made the + & - connections so small, and close together, that it took me 2, two-Hr frustration sessions to finally get a solder bead that didn't uni-brow across both connections. De-solder wick saved my ....:p
Gorilla glue fixed the rest.

Gravity and PV's don't get along. :D

I hope everyone has a good Monday.

Happy Tuesday all.

I got bit by monday. No good deed goes unpunished. I took a friend to his doctor appointment and somehow I snapped the CE2 carto ....(with the 510 connector) right off my over-mended VTube PV. I broke my own rule "never put the VTube in your pants pocket". I think it happened as I was bending over to pick some papers up.:-x

Here is the gory photo.8-o

My SID is in the mail, so naturally I CAN'T WAIT!!!:hubba::drool:

ok, you said the contacts have been cleaned, what about inside the switch, and the threads, also what mech is it? is there any discoloration on the contacts and did you just clean them or did you lightly sand them?
