Broke my Puritank..ok I just was able to get a bottom replacement ring but the airflow controller is shot..to much wiggle in it. I wonder if there are only one type of airflow controllers..or is there only one and it is jiggly? Just had gotten up with it on my lap and it dropped into the carpet so it was not a hard or high fall.

Anyone want a cat? I will mail her to you free of charge. She seems nice and is spade. Probably about two or so years old. Black with a little white on her chest. But NOISY. Could have some Siamese in her.

We found her under our deck and so far can't find her owners. She has kept us up every night since Wed. cause she won't shut up. I'm sure some of you would like that..........right?

Can't bring myself to just put her back outside although I know she wants back outside. And maybe she would just go home, but maybe she wouldn't. Too dangerous for her, other animals and birds to take that chance. She isn't feral. We took her to the vet......no chip but thankfully she is spade. Soooooooooooooo, why haven't her owners put up LOST CAT signs anywhere? We live in a small town so it would not be too difficult. Dam* people who don't take care of their pets. Or can't bother to look for them if they truly accidentally get out.

I'm rambling. Sleep deprivation will do that to ya. lol

I couldn't really ship her out. Who knows where she would end up with the USPS. :D

You are doing a great thing by sheltering that poor kiki. It sounds like you are right-on about it having a touch of Siamese.
I have a half Siamese, she is super smart but has gone def, and now she cries and cries until we give her some lovins. Cats are pretty amazing at learning their ppl's routine and going to bed when we go to bed. But that can literally take months or years! Try playing with the cat and getting her tuckered out.

You are good ppl in my book! Going as far as to take her to a vet! Very cool. :) But I'm thinking, maybe you should make some fliers and post them around. Maybe the person who lost her, can't afford, or doesn't know how to print fliers (an elderly person without a PC). ???

I hope you find a solution.:) -Not sleeping good is torture!!!!

Good advice Aflatoxin about the flyers. We will be putting some around town.

We tried tuckering her out. I think it backfired and tuckered us out. LOL

But she is getting a little better thankfully. Sometimes I am tempted to put her on a leash and see if she will lead me to her home but not sure how well that would work with a cat that isn't leash trained. They certainly are not the same as a dog would be.

Two out of three kids home with croup. I hope everyone else is having a better Monday than we are!

OH NO!
my 3 year old had croup about a year ago its horrible to hear them. It sounds like a horse cough and you dont know what to do. it took him like 2 weeks to get over it even with the antibiotics.

remember cats are a lot like women they wonder but if they are taken care of at home they will come back. (and don't think about touching them unless they have indicated they want you too) If she(all cats feminine) found you she can find home there kinda awesome like that.

Yep...my oldest has had bouts of it for years, I'm hoping he grows out of it soon. It's skipped my middle one so far, but the youngest just got it for the first time at 8 months. I had him in the ER for breathing treatments last night. :(
