Hey all. Hope everyone is having a great day. I am hanging out right now, going to the PO later and then some softball games tonight.
I miss playing ball. A lot.
I have played since tball. Had a scare when I first started softball in the 3rd grade (took a ball to the mouth) and almost didn't play again after that. But I did, and I am glad I did. It's probably the only thing I can actually say that I enjoy doing for myself. It's nice to get out and play!
I miss playing soccer. I was a pretty good goalkeeper when I was a teenager. I got drafted into a highly competitive league and after awhile it was all stress, no fun. A pretty bad knee injury didn't help much either, so I ended up quitting. I've been thinking about joining a recreational adult team.
