I know! Things from Texas takes at least 3 days to get here, that's only about 3 states over, and about 1000 miles less. Maybe USPS has a more direct route from NY to CA. But MVS always ships either the day of the order, or the next day if I order after 5pm.

Actually this is somewhat true. I am currently stationed in Germany with the Army. So i have to find APO shipping for everything. Well it's just easier that way most times. However in talking with the USPS workers in our APO they told me that almost all orders that ship overseas here will go through NY or NJ. Priority mail unless oversized will almost always go through NY all other mail goes through NJ. I think that this is because they have such a huge mail hub in that area, and that they have access to large airports for rapid shipment. I will say that the USPS is pretty amazing too. Most things i have ordered have arrived within 4 to 10 days when shipped priority. I have only had a few things take longer than that. Even my last juice order was less than a week and i placed the order a day before Sandy hit the east coast. They routed the package through Chicago for that one so it took a few more days than what i was used to.

I love this thread btw! lots of good people and consistant people too!

**Edit** So in saying that about the USPS if your tracking your shipment and notice it goes through NY or NJ almost every time or the supplier is on the east coast the faster it gets to NY or NJ the faster it gets to you.

That explains it. Thank you for the info!

Good morning jj!

I'm watching Sunday Football.

How are you?

Belated hi woland and good morning to everyone. :)

Got a bunch of stuff done yesterday so it was a good day.:)
Today is going to be a somewhat lazy day so it's looking good...even if I might have to go out and do a little shopping.
