Well I just tried to make my first mesh wick coil. I believe I have done a good job this thing rocks and I love the drip tip on it thanks so much aasupplyny

The threads are messed up so the top keeps falling off on the one I got... so I haven't even tried wicking it. Not sure if there's much that can be done with it but I'll use the drip tip.

there isn't much threading but once you get it started it only takes two turns to tighten

"You know they call corn-on-the-cob "corn-on-the-cob," right? But that's how it comes out of the ground...... They should call that "corn", and they should call every other version "corn-off-the-cob." It's not like if you cut off my arm you would call my arm "Mitch", but then reattach it and call it "Mitch-all-together." - Mitch Hedberg

We'll, I'm sure at one point during manufacturing it had "not much threading". They took off the remainder of the threads during final assembly so I have an "RBA" instead of an "RBA-all-together".

Mine only threads half a turn. I looked inside the cap and the threads seem to be recessed away from the bottom. It seems that if you file/grind some of the material from the bottom of the cap the threads will engage better.

Yup, I planned on trying that. I'm thinking the cap is plated so the finish may start flaking within a few months if it's sanded. The threading really is fubar'ed though so there's really nothing left of the threads to engage to. I may make a second o-ring groove and get rid of the threading all together. It'll be on the back burner for a few days until I get some time. I'll make it work.

So I didn't feel like waiting. I worked on it tonight. After a couple hour of sanding, filing and drilling, it's vaping like a champ. The top still worries me. It's barely catching, maybe a 1/4 turn at best, but it's not falling off. It's wicking good. The air hole is lined up and I drilled it out to a 1/16. I might have to tighten the coil a little after a few hours but it's vaping well. I better get to bed since I have to be up in less than 4 hrs. I'm thinking tomorrows 12 might be rather long.

Good morning Aurora-Oblivion!

OK, just a question since I've been going nuts about the coming soon page, aasupply do you have an ETA on the copper zmaxs and the evic? Just wondering. I know that all ETA's are not final, but I'm just getting a little excited. And I'm saving money to get both at the same time, if possible.

I just took a look at the evic and didn't realize it was both VV & VW. And it looks soooo futuristic. I love that look.

Both are going to ship out end of this week per the manufacturer, supposedly. ETA is next week but I am doubtful with the holiday.

Let me know if the top falls out, I can send another if we still have them

I think they're all 1/4-1/2 turn
