I go shopping out of town and on the way out of that town, there is a four lane and cars are forever speeding to get past me and everyone else. Then it turns into a two lane and not even a quarter of a mile, they turn which means that everyone has to slow down. At first it didn't irritate me but it does now.
Why speed up when they aren't going that far?

What gets me is how people believe having 4WD or AWD somehow increases their braking capacity in bad weather.

Those are the ones you quite often see in the ditch farther on.

Forget when it's bad out... I hate that ANYTIME! Especially when there isn't another car behind me. Why couldn't they wait a few more seconds? just HAD to pull out and make me slow down?

I don't get the way people handle their automobiles sometimes... regardless of the weather.

There is a train in Horicon (I know you won't know where that is) that blocks the entire town just going back and forth and back and forth. Never know when it is going to be there but seriously, blocks every way out of there. Fifteen-twenty minutes, more, they don't give a shi*. I swear if I had a missile launcher I would blow the dam* things off the tracks. I truly would. Which is why I am not allowed to have a missile launcher.

If an ambulance or cop has to get past they will move the train completely off the track. But that can take a lot of precious minutes to someone dying. They have been fined numerous times due to how long they are blocking traffic but they do it all the time. They probably get out of having to actually pay the fine.

Couldn't a train be disconnected at a junction for emergencies?

Are they required by law,perhaps,to move at that reduced speed through a populated area?

Still would take some time to disconnect the cars.

I don't know about the speed. I know Amtrax moves pretty good through some of the small towns but the tracks don't through the town itself.

And I thought they could only a block a road for a certain amount of time.

If there is a law then they break it a lot around here.
