Yes. You probably don't have to.....the battery almost certainly already has a partial charge, but you should top it off for best performance. Enjoy your new mod!
Thanks guys! Normally when its fully drained, how long does it take to fully charge (rough estimate? I dont have the "trustfire" brand charger, its the $5 one on madvapes)
I LOVE my little red candy apple RoughStack! It's so cute. Yes, charge first. I'm not sure about the charging the batteries overnight bit, that could be risky? I think I charged them for 3 or 4 hours or something the first time (until the charger light turned green). I have three batteries and swop them out as needed.I just got my Maxi Roughstack v2 from madvapes. I got a 18650 batt with charger. Should I charge the battery first?
This is my 1st mod and I've never used these types of batts before, happy vaping!

18650 only for this guy...I've been using LR carts, LR 306 atty, and my ce3 smokyizer...
all firing on all cylinders!
I just ordered the battery extension and the mega dual coil cart from madvapes...

Yes, the 'Tube is 18650 so go ahead and send me your CC . As for how long the 18650 lasts, that all depends on which one you got and how you vape. I have the 2600mah Trustfire and I go around 24 hours to a charge when I vape 3.7 (which isn't often anymore.)

This is what I did. I had the Kgo (ego clone) and just got a provari with the 2500mAh 18650 batteries. I vape about the same rate as when I smoked cigs (roughly 1 PAD) and it lasted me 3 full days at 4-4.2Volts on LR Boge cartos. You'll love it.

From 7pm yesterday to 10am today the 18650 died. Popped it in the charger and its still not fully charged (10am PST) till now 5:30pm. I was vaping like crazy...well how long does it charge for? Its been red forever!

I don't get your timing? How long has it been in the charger for? Do you only have one battery? Do you have one of those little cheap MadVapes single battery chargers?
lol. Well okay it was fully charged yesterday at 7pm and it died today at 10am. Its been on the charger since 10am and its 7:30pm my time and its still red. I only have 1 batt at the moment and its the cheap $5 charger and its the trustfire 2400mah. I just ordered another batt from madvapes
oh yeah I got a 900mah ego battery as my backup. But still 9 hours!? Isn't that a bit odd? Especially when the battery lasted 15 hours? Do you have to break in new battery like this?
The $5 charger sucks, get the Trustfire charger. I got mine today and took my "fully charged" battery off of the cheapo and put it in the Trustfire and it took another hour to get to a REAL full charge.
yeah, lesson learned. But damn this chargers been on the socket for over 9 hours!
No it definitely shouldn't take 9 hours. Mine take 3-4. Maybe the little green light thing isn't working. And I agree with orkira, you need a backup battery. I prefer to have three batteries for each mod. I rotate 2, but if one fails I know I have that extra one. No way I can be without something to vape. Too risky for me. I have fallen off the wagon too many times (in my tobacco quitting quest) to take any chances ever again. Everytime I started smoking again was because of some lame excuse or another. This time I am making sure that there are NO excuses because I will not fail!
Since I have several mods, (apart from my other ecigs) my collection of special batteries and all their special chargers, (why must each mod have different batteries I wonder
) is really growing at an alarming rate lol! I have a large space set aside lined with the stuff.Take it OFF already! Nine hours is too long.
