My 3aaa flashlight mod

This is my 3aaa flashlight mod, right now it's running really well on 3 aaas. It's not a vape monster by any means but, if I take slow long draggs on a LR atty, it performs really well.

I didnt like the idea of anything sticking out the side so, I put my momentary switch on top. Switch and led from ratshack, batt connector was cut from a dead PT, the top is a DP bottle cap.

When I get my 18650 batts in I plan on remaking this by moving the pos batt holder up about 10 - 15mm and extending the spring so it can still run on 3aaas. At the same time I might take the bottle cap off and paint or vinal tape it black or I might not...

The 3 nimh aaas put out right at 4v from the battery holder, I get the same at the batt connector, but I don't have the ability (read: I don't have the time/money to build the equipment necessary) to test it under load right now.

Awesome dude! I've used bottle caps on some of my mods since they are just the right size.
