My 510 is useless without the new carts!

Cheese 'n' crackers!!!! How the heck are you people using it with the loose carts? I just barely touch mine and they fall off! This is not a good thing for someone like me who is accident prone! I emailed IV to ask when they might be getting the new carts because I'm definitely not using my 510 until they do. Hopefully I'll hear back from them.

First the shipping fiasco, then the whole IV vs Eastmall vs Joye vs TW (whatever the hell is going on there) and now the cart problem!

What upsets me is had I known this about the new attys, I probably would have ordered the original ones elsewhere. If I'm going to need "special" carts, how hard are they going to be to get? They should have realized this before they sent out the new attys.

I just hope this mess gets sorted out soon.

I know I know! Its crazy out there right now! Which carts did you order? I wasnt to happy about it taking so long to ship but I received 100 carts from Innovapor and they are really delicious. Rich/Low 10mg. Did you get the right cart? I made this mistake early on with my npro from njoy. I thought they all fit the same.

Did you order the rounded tip for the 510?

I wonder if TW carts would fit the new atty. If NOT then they are not TW attys, if the DO then that would help prove they are TW attys. Just a thought. As I don't have either I can't test this idea.

Finally recieved my order today for 2 atty's, 2 batt's & some juice. Well I guess I was sent the "new" atomizers because like others, my old tips can't be used...the ones with, for lack of a better way to describe, 2 vents on either side.
Also it seems the older tips had an additional baffle. The dummy tips that came with the new atty's have no baffle, no side vents & only fit into the atty about 1/8 of an inch. I think I'd get more juice in my mouth then down into the atty as soon as I draw on it.
And to be honest. It looks like after I put the cart filler in it won't even contact the bridge for proper wicking. I haven't tried them yet...I'm debating whether to send them back or just toss them in my stash box for a last resort.

Exactly Groundsclown! I noticed that too, and I'm not even going to attempt it.

TheColoradoDude, none of the 510 carts will fit... do you have the new attys? I know some people said they got the originals.

Just checked email and I received this response from IV...
"Hey Tara
Today. We are aware of the problem with the carts and we expressed the new carts to our warehouse.
I apologize about the new atomizer/cart problem.

At least they got back to me quickly ( thank you Innovapor, I do appreciate the fast reply)... guess I'll just keep checking the site and forum for any signs of the new carts.

Oh boy! I don't knwo which attys I have. I received my first set from Totally Wicket about 2 months ago and my next 5 from Healthcabin.net about a month ago.

I can't seem to tell from the picture the difference.

I should've noted but I just realized that in the picture above, I posted new atty, old atty. The old atty is from another vender. Not a true Titan, wide band.
Although the older carts fit my non branded just fine.

i guess you could always use some tweezers or a paper clip and take out the filled poly material and put it in the old.

The issue isn't the poly. It's that true Joye 510 tips don't fit the new "unbranded" atty's.
The tips that came with the new unbranded atty don't resemble anything to the Joye510 tips my kits & previous atty's came with...Both prefilled & empty.
Basically I've got 2 useless atty's here. They may as well have been for an 801 (which I don't own)
Which brings up the question that is in another thread.
Are these a Joye product or not?
If not, then I'd be curious where IV got them from so that I don't order them from there.
Jesstene said in another thread that new carts will be available in about a week. Well thats just great for those that haven't ordered yet. So what, do I have to order a pack of carts now to use the new atty's? Nah. I'll pass thank you.

I'm just glad I didn't order a dozen or more. As it is I'm just looking at 2 duds.

Nope. It's the "new & improved" atty's that the tips don't fit in. Actually they fit IN, it's just that they're so loose they fall right out.

We've all done this. Take a drag from an analog, grab it with your first 2 fingers & it sticks to your lips, causing the inside of your fingers to slide right across the cherry8-o
My tips that came with my kits & all previous atty's, both Titan & unbranded from a chinese supplier (we know who) fit so loose that I think if I tried them, the tip would either stay in my mouth or fall to the ground...At least I don't get those damn burns anymore LOL.

That's exactly what they are "Dummy Tips" they could be used for dripping but should not mistaken for refillable cartridges. IMO they are just for shipping purposes.

Which I think is BS. Every atty I've ever ordered, whether for my previous 901 or current 510, using several different suppliers has ALWAYS had a usable tip minus the filler.
It upsets me a little that IV sold these without a proper cart. Knowing well that no ones got the new'n improved carts to fit them.

I think it was a bad decision. One thats causing them more headaches than what they need at the moment.

I posted elsewhere that I almost choked to death with the loose cart. Actually inhaled the cart and it was an act of god that I didn't choke to death. If you get the old carts and the new atty please be cautious.

HaHa...I have been happily vapeing my 510 for almost a week when the cart flew down my throat. Poor design. I am now useing my teeth as a barrier to death until I can get some new carts.

I'm glad you took it as the joke it was meant to be. I just took a pair of needle nose pliers and adjusted the edge of the atty a tiny bit...snug as a bug as they say. Considering this industry is relatively new, ya gotta roll with the punches.

Maybe this will help:

I am using a 510 cartridge on my p01 so I have to top off less often (901 carts don't hold much) and I had a problem with the 510 cart being just a little bit to small for the 901 atomizer.

I took some Superglue GEL and put a thin ring around the part of the cart that goes into the atomizer. Let it dry real well and now I am vaping away. Worked like a charm.

Perhaps you can try this method on one of your slighly too small carts?

Rob, where are you getting your attys from? ALL of my new attys, be it for the 510 or the 401, have always included a dummy cart that can be used only for dripping. An I'm talking multiple suppliers (Bestecig, TW, and IV)...okay, may be not a lot of suppliers but from a few.
