My DSE901 arrived this morning:)

This is my first e-cig and cant wait to try it.

I have to charge it up till tonight though before I can test it.:(

I only ordered it on monday from e-cigs.co.uk and it was showing pre-order. It was shipped on tuesday and arrived this morning.

I couldn't be happier with the service and the packing was nice and secure.

Just thought I would share that and will let you know how I get on with it later on tonight.

Can't wait:)

Welcome Keyser! Hope you enjoy your new device! Let us know what you think when you get to take your first vape. Did you get any liquid with it? Make sure to charge it a good 12 hours :)

I got a 15ml of Euro-blend ejuice so I will let you know how I get on with it.

I also received 10 extra cartridges for being a member here so am very pleased.

I intentionally didn't buy any analogs today so i've got 2 left then that is it(won't need anymore hopefully).

Also looking forward to my house smelling a bit nicer and should cut down the dust level (always smoked in the house).

Ok people quick update,

after having the battery charging for 10 hours I couldn't wait any longer so set up my e-cig and gave it a try.
I only had the regular cart's as my options because I had no blank's to try my liquid.
Obviously picked the strongest one from the packet high 18mg.

First impressions.
Very easy to set up, everything seems to fit perfectly (not too loose/tight.)
I'm surprised at the amount of "throat hit" it's not what I imagined and actually made me cough slightly(noob:)) after taking the biggest drag I could.

I find the taste actually quite pleasant, not perfect but not horrible either. The amount of visible vapour is what I expected after watching videos from the forum all week.

I think the extra weight (compared to analogs) will take a bit of getting used to, my usual grip doesn't seem to work too well, I also tend to keep the analogs in my mouth while I am doing other things (working/typing,etc.) but short of biting down on the e-cig this may not work too well.

I think over the coming day's I will get used to it and are looking forward to trying out new flavours.

I noticed I do seem to have a rather dry mouth (even more than with the analogs).

We will have to see what the next few hours/days bring craving's wise, as I have no analogs left now so it's e-cig all the way.:)

Dry mouth does happen when you vape extensively. Just have some water, i heard it's good for you. heh.

Comment about the throat hit. I think it's so funny every time I lend my DSE 901 to a friend who smokes. Cough cough, it's like their first cigarette!

I crave the throat hit now. It's the primary attribute i look for in e-cigs. Unfortunately if you vape for hours constantly, it vanishes or tones down because your system gets used to the kick. Not to worry though, it's right back there when you wake up the next day.

In fact, I used to be in a barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois. The baritone was this guy named Kip Diskin, big fat guy, I mean, like, ORCA fat; even HE had a DSE 901.

Yes that's expected... the PG dries out the mouth/throat. Water water water. :)

BTW, I did the same as you, ran out the analogs the same day I got my first ecig. It's been pretty smooth sailing, I wish the same for you.
