I tend to forget it each year, including this one, but before another year passes and is forgotten,
I wanted to give my thanks to this forum and it's member, one more time.
In the hopes that one success story might help sway a few uncertain readers into taking that leap of faith
and quit tobacco forever.
I was a 2 pack a day smoker from 17 until i was 44y/o.
I was able to switch to e-cigs after finding this forum and the plethora of information and knowledgeable members gave me the courage and info i needed.
I had $200 a month habit and I spent $85 on a ego tank starter kit and a months supply of e-fluid,
knowing that at the worst, if i used it for a month, i still saved a lot of $$.
On June 15 2011 my package arrived.
I had 2 open packs of cigarettes and 6 unopened, that I kept in case it didn't work out.
I smoked the open packs at work and my new pv at home, while i learned, from using it and this forum.
6 months later, i gave the 6 unopened packs to my neighbor and a piece of paper with this forum's
address on it.
After many family reunions, BBQ's, full scale Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, many relatives, both
distant and close and even a few friends, have been exposed to my new habit and are now readers of this forum, using e-cigs and enjoying the benefits.
To the indecisive I say, Trust this forum, It's not a leap, it's a small step from crumbling ground to reinforced concrete and there are thousands here to help you take it.
