I knew this was going to happen at some point. My ADV and the only e-liquid I currently find vapable is Dekang 555. I used to vape Gold and Silver, but one day my newest batch showed up and it tasted very bad. Like Dekang lost the recipe and replaced it with cat urine. Fortunately, I had ordered some 555 at the same time and I liked it. So I seamlessly transitioned over to 555.

Two days ago, I got a reorder of my 555. I broke out a new carto and filled everything up. Then I began vaping and I got the worst flavor I've ever experienced. It was so bad it was unexplainable. Yes, worse then cat urine. I tried burning it for a while hoping the taste would dissipate. It didn't. I refilled it with the last of my good 555 that I was able to scavenge. But now, I have nothing but the bad juice and I don't know what I'm going to do when I run out.

Is Dekang that inconsistent? This is the second Dekang flavor that changed on me.

I have found with DeKang flavors that the bigger bottles need to steep longer than smaller bottles. I order 100 ml bottles of DK TB every other month and they need to steep a minimum of 2 weeks to get rid of that grassy vinegar taste. Smaller 30 ml bottles are usually good to go when received although I have received them where they need to sit opened for a day or so and then given a good shake.

Time go get into diy.

I would never vape juice from china after buying some really horrid SGO in a local shop.

Originally I had thought that, but I'm beginning to find the refilling and rebuilding a bit tedious. I'd love it if I could just pay for consistent juice.

These were 10ml bottles. I had purchased their last 5 30ml and before this batch I had purchased their last 5 10ml bottles.

You think it will steep out? I'm almost afraid to try. I didn't vape for a full day after tasting the bad juice. I was that turned off. I'm literally considering quitting vaping. And I have a new mech mod on the way.

You may want to check out 555 from SmokelessImage. It should be very similar to Dekang 555. It's a honey almond tobacco flavor, and I find it very satisfying. Use the code "VOLTSAVE" fror 16% off. Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

If you go the DIY route, check out the Hangsen flavors, specifically T5, Highway, and DK-TAB Blended. You might also enjoy RY1.

See if changing your voltage helps. I used to love Dekang and have lots of it but that was in an Eroll. When put into three different types of clearos, it tasted like burnt celery but more pungent and that taste is in every one of the seven different flavors I have so its not the flavoring... maybe the PG they use? The clearos deliver more flavor than the Eroll does even using the same atty so I don't know what is causing that awful taste in the clearos other than, perhaps, the voltage used with those.

Well, if you bought the small ones and they were the vendor's last in stock, then maybe they were old stock that went bad.

Oh, and many US juice mixers use Chinese concentrates. You never know really where it comes from.

I had actually bought the last of the vendors stock previously. This seemed to have been a restock which is what makes me nervous. I'll suspect they mix in large batches and that means the next bottle will likely be the same.

But I have some good news. One of the 555's was a 6ml strength and this one must have come from a different batch. It tastes fine.

But, now I need to be a bit careful with my selections. I do not want to taste that taste again.

Well Dekang is the most counterfeited on the market today, I always make sure it comes in the same bottle they describe on the Dekang website. I've come across some really good copies, but none has ever gotten the YNDK on the cap right, it's on the little ring that holds the cap on. I've been using Dekang for 4 years now and have run across some really bad counterfeits.

DK Tab addict here.... I always:

Buy from only reputable Dealers
Buy in Factory sealed Dekang bottles
Buy only Nic levels listed on Dekangs website

Reputable dealers only include those who can/will disclose "chain of command". I never worry about Dekang's manufacturing quality standards, only who has touched it after its been bottled at the factory. A dead give-away that Dekang juice has been diluted, cut, etc. is when odd nic levels don't match those listed on their website. I stick with these golden rules and have not gotten a bad batch.
