So figured out from reading some posts here that my blu cig attys will fit on my ego batt, and that the drip attys I have will fit the blu batt.

Tried to drip using the blu batt and a standard drip atty, but kept getting a burnt taste.

Are blue cig attys even worth messing around with? Do you guys drip with them, still trying to flights out dripping, or do you dip them? Dipping seems so messy o me o maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I've never used a blu so I can't help there.

To drip on an ego battery it's fairly simple:

- If it has no liquid inside it, put in 4 drops and wait for a few minutes for it to soak in.

- Add another two drops and use the ego now for about 10 inhales, until it starts tasting dry.

- Add two drops again.

It's more about finding the amount of drops so it's not too wet and it's not too dry. I find two drops once it's wet already will be good enough.

If it tastes dry when you drip an atomiser you need to put more juice in it.

You're using blu... isn't that a cartomiser and not an atomiser? They can only really be reused for a set time. They're meant to be disposeable. They're 510 cartomisers, you can get them anywhere else for a lot cheaper than blu sells them for.

To refill a cartomiser you just need to take the 'lid' off and drip into the filler inside (not down the hole) until it looks wet like a slushie. If it's been filled before it could only need 4 - 8 drops to be wet enough. If it's dry you'll need about 0.5ml of liquid until it's wet enough.

My biggest concern with drip or dipping is, won't the liquid get on my battery? It just seems like there is more liquid on the battery connection than in the atty...

If that's the blue cartomiser you're filling, or even any atomiser then if it leaks it means you are filling it with too much liquid. You may need to blow some liquid out or it could be too wet for it to make vapour.

It wont matter on the ego battery because it's sealed. It would be a problem if you do that on an automatic battery.

Yes Blu has the same threads as 510 and 306 (probably more like a 306 and cart goes over rather than into the atty). But I know people would upgrade the old Blu to 306 attys and said 306 was better than the Blu atty. 306 atty needs 306 drip tips or 306 carts (but the carts are small pushup things), and 510 atty needs 510 drip tip or 510 carts

However - warning - I heard Blu batteries are the opposite polarity electrically. Label your chargers. Never put the Ego in the Blu's charger and never put the Blu in the Ego's charger (not any slim battery in the Ego's charger - it will slow-damage any slim battery but likely to fry Blu)

This is true.

Found out the hard way when I put a Joye 510 in the Blu PCC.

I started out with the Blu cig, and I would just take it as a rule of thumb that everything on it is not compatible with anything. Move up to the Passthru Ego, with 1.5ohm 306 Cisco Atomizer from Avidvapor.com and an 306 XL Drip Tip. Dripping, Cartomizers, Tanks, and Feeder Systems are all just ways to get the juice to the atomizer. Dripping is the cheapest and most flavorful IMO. Get a cone for that ego, and you don't have to worry about overdripping. Check out the video's from Dr.Vapor on You Tube. I watched those over and over to get up to speed when I first started.
