I recently bought a Halo sampler pack, the tobacco sampler, and I noticed that 4 out of 6 bottles expire sometime in 2016. It says on the bottle "best if used before ........."

But 2 of the bottles expire soon. One in June 2015 and the other in August 2015.

I guess that it's not that big of a deal since we're talking about small sample bottles here, but I would be upset if I had ordered a larger bottle that was going to expire in a couple of months.

Halo is a pretty reputable company. I doubt they would send you a juice in a larger bottle that would expire that soon. Does speak of why I buy from "made to order" type places. Only issue then is you have to let them steep, whereas a Halo type company the juice may have sat long enough to come to full flavor.

I used to shop at a place that would sell 30ml bottles of eliquid with expiration dates just a few months out. Presumably they would sell bottles from their inventory with the earliest expiration dates first. When I complained about it they told me that I could just take them back and exchange them if they were unopened after the expiration date. I stopped shopping there for a number of reasons (their eliquid came from China, they were often out of stock, and I experienced quality problems among other things). Most of the eliquid that I buy now is made within months of purchase and I like it a lot better.

One of the issues with ejuice. Assuming sterile manufacturing and packaging then it should last a long time. I would expect that the higher VG liquids would maybe not last as long as the higher PG ones. Keep em dark and cool for maximum life. I keep my VG base in the fridge, PG I do not worry about. I also keep my nic base in the fridge.

Best if used by and expiration dates are 2 different things! if it has best if used by... it generally means they say the quality will last at least to that point.. expiration is a date used for products that can spoil in a certain time.. then there is also sold by date which is a date they have to sell by but not that it will go bad by that date..
