my ce-2 v4 fix for dry wick

After 2 days of trying to troubleshoot my ce-2's inability to wick i have found an answer...It works for me may not work for you but i figured i would share. I am to lazy to do the PTB mod mainly because i don't have any. Excuse my crappy pictures they are from an old cellphone
First my paper clip fish hook. I had a hard time getting the 3rd cup out without ripping it. just stick it down the filler holes and pull:

This is the slot i modify to a big V like so on the outer ring..dont cut the inside ring it seals the atomizer.

Put it all back together and happy vaping..
This has fixed my awful dry burn taste i kept getting must be from the VG liquid i was using..

Something else that's real easy that you might give a try. This is copied from the ECF, NEW RoyalSmokers C-E2 R4 Review and Banjo and BR5494 were discussing it:

Well, it's sort of been mentioned already, Banjo. If you haven't already done so, go a step further and give this a try. Cut a piece about 1/4" X 7/8" and wrap it all the way around the cup. You don't want the ends to lap. Just make the ends meet, so 7/8" may not be the exact length. It was easier for me to make the ends meet at one of the wicks. Once in, a needle will easily slip between the strip and the tube wall for filling. Fill it up until the poly looks wet. Just like an old cartomizer.

You won't need to use a middle ring or anything else. Mine did not leak at all while standing in the inverted position for several minutes. While in use, it can constantly be tilted enough to keep it wet if need be. Hopefully the taste will be no worse than the pieces you have in there already.

This keeps the wick wetter at the cup and helps avoid the dry/burnt wick taste.
