hcigar Neme without a doubt. I have the SS and Brass and they are just "Way too good of a Deal"

That being said I am looking hard at that new brass Caravela :) Oh and yes Brass is a BIT*H to keep clean

That shinny brass bling burned my eyes.
Media blast helped some.
The media blast patina is starting to grow on me; sorry no patina pic yet.

Thanks CSWS. I know the memi runs low ohm ok. Anyone running low ohms on an Atomo or Caravela?

I've been running a .5 ohm dualcoil build on my EHpro Caravela and it hits very hard indeed. Can't really tell any difference between that and an EMI Avenger V3 (copper contacts) so I'd call it good! Although I have the older EHpro model, before they started putting the trademarks on them, I heard the newer ones have a slightly redesigned switch so hopefully that didn't hurt performance any (I think the redesign was to fix button wobble) I have also replaced the stock 510 center pin with some threaded brass rod, but I believe the stock pin is also just threaded brass rod so that should be a non-issue.

I have no real caravela to compare it to, but just judging the mod by itself, and not judging it by how good of a copy it is, I'd say it's an excellent mod. Very well made and very good performer, I like mine more than most of my high-end mechs I've had to be honest, which is why I still have the vela clone ;)

SoCal, baby!
I just got the Fasttech Caravela and Atomo. After a little fiddling with the Atomo, I have no issues with misfiring and both work extremely well. Once the heat is off these items and they are regularly in stock I plan on getting another pair. I also have a FT Wooliston (FT clone of Smoktech Magneto which is clone of Nzonic) and both the 'vela and the Atomo look, feel and perform much better. Personally, I think I am leaning to the Atomo for the daily and the 'vela for home.

I bought the atomo from vape royalty a while back. I really like its looks and I have had zero misfire problems out of it. I kept a regular russian on it for a while, now my nimbus stays on it for when I am in the mood to use a dripper. I have one russian on a magneto, which I love because the switch has a lock on it, the atomo does not. I am skeptical about carrying it out and in my pocket with only a recessed button, but the tines I have carried it, I could not tell if it ever fired with out my doing so. As far as build quality of the atomo clone is concerned, its machined well and doesnt feel cheap. I would buy again if something were to happen to the one I have now. I am even contemplating buying a real atomo, but from what I can tell, the clone from vape royalty is pretty damn close.

How is that Magneto treating you? How is the performance compared to the Atomo?

I love the magneto. Its durable, the button is solid, the lock ring works good ( take it apart and tighten it up once in a while ) and it is stupidly simple in design, which is good. I carry it and my provari mini every where I go. I have about ten mods.... and these two are my never leave home with out them devices. I run the green sony batteries in it with a russian built with a 1.4 ohm micro coil. As far as mechs go, you can spend any amount of money on a high priced mod....( some of them , like the atomo, might be worth it ) and worry about voltage drop and all that stuff.... And I do sub ohm vape sometimes.... but I see nothing wrong with a forty dollar mod that you can treat like a baseball bat and it still works every time you use it.
