My dad is cheap as all get out and I have been trying to talk him into VV for a while now. He is happy with what works for now but I just know from my own exp that the vast wide open world of vape has so much more to offer him. So I am trying to show him this world.

The twist in particular has came up a time or two when I see a good deal. I have yet to see a good deal in the last couple weeks though. So whats a good reliable VV PV that I can turn him on to? Like I said, he is cheap and will take every expense in consideration. Things like battery's,chargers, shipping, and coupon codes, will all play a roll. If anyone knows of a good deal on something proven, please post it and lets take a look. I hope this thread will also help others looking to upgrade on a budget. Thanks.

The ego twist is good and cheap, also the V8 is getting good reviews and it is cheap also..

V8 click here

The V-8 does look nice. TY for the link.

I would go with the VV Gripper over the Twist. It comes with a 4 amp switch regulator so you can use any atty or carto on it, even dual coils. It's only around $59.

Not a bad kit but only 3 settings. Seems like it would be like VV with a crutch. TY for the link.

I gave you the wrong link. I think the one at Madvapes is better. Their site is under a make-over but is supposed to be back to full function by tomorrow. They are well supported on ECF:

If you're willing to drop $59 on a box mod I'd say youd be much better off with this varitube x from ivape. NEW Mini Varitube X - Black - Full Kit | Variable Voltage | MODS | iVAPE
I was seriously leaning towards the Ovale v8 until I found this sucker. It's basically a knock off the lavatube with new internals which fix all the old bugs, plus it has a 3 amp limit. I just bought the kit myself. I have yet to use it but from what I've read and found out this little VV is pretty good for the money.

Update: I just got it in today and its awesome with some boge lr cartos. The mini is alot smaller than I expected though. It's like the size of those little LED flashlights but it puts out ridiculous power. I am happy with my purchase.

+ 1 for the Ovale V8 VV, here is the thread. You are VERY welcome hehe :). (I just read your post on the pet hates thread).

That looks dam good in Gold. Now I wish I didn't have to many PV's. I promise I am not going to be a hoarder.

LOL. I fit in well in the "Pet hates thread". Im a ranter from way back . In all honesty I am glad I was slapped around by a Mod or four. They kept me in line, and ECF in line. I get it now.

Ivape carries the Varitube kit for a great price. I have quite a few VV mods and this cheapie is probably the one I use the most (partly due to the low cost if I ever had to replace it). Great little device and super simple to use.

Ya. Now that I think about it. The v tube might just win out after all. That is if I can even talk him into it. If I cant then I have a home made VV pv that cost me under $10 to make. Might just give it to him. I have two more mods on the way That makes 5. I really dont need that much pv's.

I believe that only has a 2.5 amp switch, however, which limits what you can use with it. Maybe the OP doesn't care about the limitations, but it's something that should be known and understood.
