Hi im wondering if anyone can help me. Im new to DIY liquid and ive made a few 10ml test batches, and all of them taste really bad, like chemicals. Is it because they havnt steeped them ? Bare in mind ive only used single flavours per batch [because im new]. I got my kit from vapable.com and the flavourings used are vapables own and also the more known perfumers apprentice. Can anyone please help? Thankyou in advance. Im a new member.

If you want to try them out try speed steeping them using hot water. Put the juice in hot water and let it cool to room temp take the juice out, reheat the water and put it back in and let it cool... Do this 3-4 times and you will get a good idea of the steeped flavor.

Maybe too much flavoring? Maybe it if the flavoring most of the flavorings taste chemical and perfumy to me. Try letting it steep a day or so with the lid off I am told.
I prefer the Capella and Flavor Concentrates flavorings.

btw DIY is great and if you stick with it you will make some fine juices that you like very well. There is a fair bit of trial and error though. Keep good track of what you put in your mix so if it is good you can do it again 
How much flavor are you putting in? Most flavors don't taste great by themselves for some reason, you almost always have to balance things out with a few flavors.

Some flavors that have a nasty, paint-thinnery/waxy taste need to be steeped with the caps off for a couple of hours first. Flavor West Sweet Strawberry comes to mind along with TFA Raspberry. Leave the lid and spout off your bottle, maybe cover it with a piece of cheese cloth or a clean paper towel to keep out the dust and such. Let it sit for a couple of hours, then re-cap it and let it finish steeping.
Okey so i should also steep the concentrates? And the flavours i have are: the perfumers apprentice double chocolate, sweet cream, tutti fruitti, cotton candy and the vapable ones are blueberry, rasberry, menthol and voilet candy. I have been mixing at 15%. My nicotine content is 6mg 0.6%. Oh yeah i also have cappella sucralose sweetener addatives. Thanks so mu ch everyone i wass so worried lol.
I wouldn't steep the concentrates. Alcohol is sometimes used in them to dilute the mixtures. If you still seem to get a chemical/perfume type smell after mixing, you can leave them open for a bit after letting the bottles soak in warm water and it helps the alcohol to evaporate. If you do try the soaking in warm/hot water, use a sink full of hot tap water and when it is done, shake the bottle vigorously before setting it aside and opening it to breathe. The warm water will help all the liquids to blend better.
I can't speak to the vapable flavors as I haven't used them but with the perfumers apprentice flavors I only use 2-5% of any single flavor. They are strong and don't need much to become overwhelming in your juice. Cotton Candy and Sweet cream are just additives to enhance/change other flavors. Cotton candy will make other flavors taste more sweet, sweet cream makes flavors taste creamy.
Try 3% tutti frutti, 1% cotton candy and a few drops of menthol and see how that tastes.

Most of the flavors you listed are what I would consider a true stellar stand alone flavors. Some of the flavor concentrates you listed are not even considered to be great ( not great to most DIY'ers from the reviews I have read) stand alone flavors. IMO, all flavors you listed are a mixer type flavors. Double chocolate and tutti fruitti can be vaped as stand alones if you like the flavor. voilet candy?

Suggest you Google ("what is a DIY stand alone flavor") or use the ECF search function located upper right hand corner of page and query "DIY stand alone flavor". You have some of reading to do.

I make small batches not to exceed 5 mls (i know they will vape really good). I mix a 2mls most batches that I feel should be good. I leave out the nic (add nic after initial taste and short steep).. I suggest you taste these mixes after a good shake and let them steep 2- 3 hours. This should give you a rough idea of their potential worth after a 2-5 week steep.

try the shake/ cap off steeping - i notice that 'perfumey' notes seem to dissipate with cap off steeping in a dark place, as some of whatever is making them 'perfumey' evaporates and the actual flavors start to evolve - great info on the forums here about speed-steeping methods (i think i am lusting after an ultrasonic cleaner, now...) but so far, i have just worked on being patient and letting time develop them... unfortunately, patience is not one of my defining character attributes... stick with it, though, it will pay off - the recipe forums here can be very helpful too - already found what I believe may be my go-to vanilla custard... working on butterscotch, key lime now...

I'm gonna have to try blending multiple flavours aswell as I didn't know that my flavours were more geared towards mixing. Ive never tried vanilla custard, sounds really nice. Steeping is a big key to juices! Some are great right off the bat and some can take a month or more to mature into a really good flavor. Also look into using EM. You should see all about this in the DIY blogs listed above.

I'm going to check that calculater out now and I've jst tried a couple of the flavours I had steeping in the sink and they actually taste good! I'm shocked tbh.All perfume taste has gone. I can only imagine what I could make when they are steeped natures way, although I'm not a patient person either myself lol.
