My Dream Provari is now COMPLETE!

I call her PUFF the Magic Dragon since she is Dragon-themed. My friends call her Light Saber because she is big, shiny and dorky lol.

Why the Dragon? The benevolent Chinese Dragon symbolizes greatness, power, and perseverance in overcoming obstacles until success. How perfect is this symbol for a vaper who has quit cigarette smoking? And in my personal life, vaping helps me cope with the tremendous battle I am facing - I am young but had tumors that spread through my leg last year. Surgery to remove them left me with horrific nerve damage, and treatments suck the life (and money) out of me. I persevere and one day if I am ever medically cleared, I'm going to get a tattoo with this symbol.

Puff has been a work of love, and a lot of money. In fact with all my medical expenses she is the only toy I allow myself to spend on anything but treatments; I do deserve something for my sanity and as a reward. I saved up for over 6 months. I'll put together a picture of me puffing on her since I'm fairly easy on the eyes myself lol, and I want to show her off with my good camera.

She's a Provari Mini in Silver. I went with the silver because the Cobra rba I added was SS and it's a nice clean look. I had a fire breathing dragon sandblasted in blue into the tank. Although, it's a bit lighter than the Phiniac color swatch so down the line I may have them re-do it in black. I have a Bully Tip from Bull Box Mods in blue/white/black and my latest acquisition for carrying my rig around safely is a Serenity Leather "Dragonhide" metallic blue sleeve with lanyard/ring for carabiner. Lastly, I ordered a Twins from Atmistique.gr so I can telescope the Provari Mini to an 18500 battery or an 18650 battery, and I picked up two EFest IMR 1100mAh 18500s and 2 Panasonic IMR 2250mAh 18650s last night. I have a fancy rapid Efest charger with car attachment that takes all three sizes. With even an 1100mAH battery in the telescoped Mini I'll be ok all day while I'm stuck at treatment.

Here's the Twins; I ordered from the supplier directly (he's on ECF and was very kind to answer my questions as I used Google Translate on his Greek site). Next will be the Hippo if I read that the airflow control really makes a difference; everyone is out of it right now anyway.



Total cost of ALL of this was close to $600, but with my calculations I have saved over $1200 by not smoking over the past eight months! I sold off all my older sets to help pay for it as well which was hard; you really get attached when vaping becomes such a hobby!

Some people collect one of every mod on here I swear but I will be happy with just this one for a long time. I only have one backup clearo, the new Vapeonly BCC I bought for when my RBA needs adjusting but I just need a quick nic hit (fiddling with wire, mesh and testing ohms can be a bit time-consuming).

When the next huge innovation comes that's leaps and bounds ahead, then I will make the jump but for now I am loving being able to customize my RBA resistance so that I can hit my Provari's sweet spot.

And now with the larger batteries I won't be constantly swapping. That was my only real frustration, that the standard, 700mAh AW IMRs don't last long the way I vape.

Have in mind the Hippo airflow control will only apply to attys with airholes in the bottom, it will not apply to gennies.

True, the Hippo will work with a bottom air atomizers and RBAs. I'm waiting to see what fellow ECFers say on it, I trust their feedback as there are so many on here who have way more experience than me, even though I consider myself "competent and knowledgeable" at this point!

Photos will be forthcoming! I have to get my Bully driptip back from Brett so I am waiting then I'll put that on the Cobra. It's just a drip tip, but that's the finishing touch!

I got the idea from another thread about the Vapor Skins. Provari has their own wrapz but this other site does customs (same 3M material) and I'd like to do a blue and black Chinese dragon, that would look sick. Of course it will have to match the Bully.

I have TONS of photos I have collected but to keep it simple and for high enough resolution, I kinda like this one. It'd be awesome to have a vertical dragon like that wrapped around the Provari. It's a nice, silver with SS right now all the way through with the blue and black drip tip and dragon etching, but a wrap would give it that WOW factor if I get bored with the clean, polished look:

Yeah thank you, I am thinking I'm going to order it once I see a special.

I lay in bed, popping Dilauded (stronger than morphine) all day lol so at least with vaping it calms me, and I don't have to hobble outside to smoke like I used to. I just submitted my medical (yeah filtered) application (my PCP insisted) so that will be interesting; everyone wants me to make them special brownies lol.

Basically I knew I had to quit smoking once I was going to the hospital every day; I'd be dead meat if they smelled it on me so I did my research, found ECF and the rest is history. What I had was unrelated but I can't imagine knowingly CAUSING myself cancer now after what I have been through, it's horrid. Every aspect of your life, it becomes a battle of attrition. You have to stop EVERYTHING and fight even when it feels like you have nothing left in yourself to give. I have the support of my family and a little dog who's snoring beside me, but everything I built for myself (career, home, savings, friendships, relationship) was shattered.

Anyway, yeah so badass Dragon it is then.

Sweet, thank you I bookmarked it, I had never heard of that! Yes on the genny-style atomizers like the Cobra there is that slight gap. That ring would really finish it off. I do use this Cobra a lot.

One the one hand I am very sorry to hear that such fundamental changes in your life are happening, but at the same time I am optimistic in that (1) You have already made some seriously positive changes and (2) You have supporters here who are understanding, available and non-judgmental. At this point it's a matter of taking care of yourself and letting your body heal.

When you get past this I'm sure you will find yourself stronger in many ways, some of which may surprise you

The medical (blank) should help a lot. I don't know how your body reacts to prescription painkillers, but they do absolutely nothing for me. Morphine, Vicodin, Percocets etc etc. They only work when they are strong enough to make me sick...then I need the medical blank to help with the nausea. Good luck =)
