so I have been vaping for about a week now, and I have noticed that since I've been off the analogs and vaping I have this feeling as if I were smoking pot instead of nicotine juice. I am not sick feeling just feel light headed and well... stoned. I dont mind it with the exception that it makes me super relaxed so that I dont pay as much attention to things, and I would rather sit around rather than go out to the bar as I did before I started vaping. Is this from perhaps vaping to much nicotine or just something that occurs when quiting analogs

I noticed something similar but I dont liken it to being stoned.
The buzz you get from it is very very passive, and takes a second to come on.
I notice it a lot more when I vape standing up as opposed to sitting.
Its not like being stoned IMO, but its a very nice almost euphoric sensation
Its also not accompanied by being lightheaded as is the case with analogs.

I like it better really

After i quick smoking analogs, I was light headed frequently and vaping usually brought it on, but as you said, it was a passive type thing, not a sick type feeling. I do notice the calming sensation when vaping, but it seems as though a more natural reaction to the nicotine instead of the analogs. It is much more relaxing and soothing to me. I wouldnt liken it to be being stoned. Also, I vape much more than i smoked.
The bars dont need your money anyways, buy more juice! ;)

I get kind of tired when I vape. I think this is because of the nic. I definitely don't think that you have nic poisoning though since you need like 60mg in a really short period of thime to be in danger. If you don't like it step down to a lower level as suggested above. The whole "buzz" from these are totally different from analogs since there are no additives, but it definitely helps stop the cravings and the withdrawals from ani's.

I also vape WAY more than I used to smoke! But I've been free of anologs for 13 weeks now. I started with 11mg and seemed to be a little to light for me. I went to 18mg and it's perfect.... for me. The higher nic amounts made me light headed and a sick feeling. It's going to be different for everyone. The key is to find what is right for you. Don't make yourself sick just because you don't want to waste the juice! You have to listen to what your body is telling you.... it never lies!

Also you may want to try VG based liquid... could be the PG isn't agreeing with your body. Something to think about or try also.

Sorry, I misread your post then, I thought it said you do feel sick. My mistake. I don't have that feeling even when I first started. Again, depends on the person though.

It could also be your bodies reaction to not having all the other chemicals in an analog. If you still have this feeling a week or two from now, I seriously would think about doing something different.

Trox.Shawn, when you do get the feeling you want to go lower, you could also buy a bottle of the same flavor, but 0 nic; then mix your other bottles with that. That way you will get lower nic, but you won't lose any flavor. (Of course you can also go the route of buying seperate flavors of the same kind, then mix your bottles down with PG/VG plus those flavors... but perhaps the 0nic-same flavor is the easiest when you are just starting.
But for now: enjoy! (Hey, couldn't we just be euforic from being able to leave behind the analogs, when we are just starting? ;) )

-----And the problem is???? I, personally, wouldn't question it...LOL

hmmmmm,

Ive been vaping for a couple of weeks, and for the last week have been vaping 0 nic. I am vaping a pg/vg mix and have also vape pure vp. I am still feeling "slightly high" even when vaping 0 nic. I have not given up analogs.......I am smoking just as much as before I started vaping.

I too am wondering if there is anything that can be done to lessen the "high." I kinda like it, and it doesnt seem to make me any lazier than I already am. (snicker) But would like to know if there is a remedy for it. That way I can choose to be high or not........does that make sense?

BTW, I am still searching for the correct nic level and am waiting on a new order. 12 mg nic is too high for me. It gives me pounding headaches, and thats the reason Ive been vaping 0 nic and still smoking analogs. Does that make sense too?
