My Ego battery isn't charging.

I've only had them since November. One of the batteries completely stopped charging. The LED doesn't even flash. when its on the charger, the charger is red and both the charger and battery get hot. Is it dead?

Sounds like the controller chip in the battery is gone. It happens. I see a new battery in your future.

I have 3 egos and am going to Italy for three weeks. My fear is that all will die! To cover myself, I am also taking my GLV SM, batteries & charger for that. What are the odds that all will die??!!!

I was going to suggest cleaning the contact points, but if the lights are on and heat is being generated it may be caput. Perhaps give the contacts a quick wipe with an alcohol swab and see if it does anything for you, just a thought. Good luck!

I already tried cleaning it. Didn't help. I don't see why its not working. it was working fine last time I used it. I just didn't use it for a few months now it doesn't work.
