Sounds like the controller chip in the battery is gone. It happens. I see a new battery in your future.

I have 3 egos and am going to Italy for three weeks. My fear is that all will die! To cover myself, I am also taking my GLV SM, batteries & charger for that. What are the odds that all will die??!!!

I am sure you will come back with all of them alive unless you drop them from the Pisa Tower :)

I was going to suggest cleaning the contact points, but if the lights are on and heat is being generated it may be caput. Perhaps give the contacts a quick wipe with an alcohol swab and see if it does anything for you, just a thought. Good luck!

I already tried cleaning it. Didn't help. I don't see why its not working. it was working fine last time I used it. I just didn't use it for a few months now it doesn't work.
