I tried charging my battery but first, my charger's LED won't turn on or flash. Secondly, I tried cleaning the contacts and pulling them up but that's still not helping. I also noticed my charger pushes it down but I'm not sure if it's my battery or the charger but the charger won't flash an LED and the battery still produces vapor but when I need to charge it, nothing. Please help!

Hi JustVape and welcome to ECF.

What battery, what e-cig (or mod) and what charger are you using? Have you charged the battery before this?

In the meantime, it's best if you don't discharge the battery all the way until no vapor happens.

I think it's an ego, I'm not sure because it was a gift but I tried changing USB ports and wall outlets but that's not working. Yes, I have charged my battery before this but my 2nd time trying to charge it just won't do.

This has happened to me a couple of times with an eGo battery. Both times it was because the center pin in the battery was pushed in too far and didn't make good enough contact with the charger.

In your first post you said you "tried cleaning the contacts and pulling them up but that's still not helping". I think it's either still not making contact there, the battery is bad or the charger is bad. I would have another go at cleaning both contacts with alcohol and try pulling the pin up in the battery again and see if that helps. If that doesn't help you could ask your friend where it was bought and try to get support from them.

If nothing works out for you, you can buy these kits for around $10 - $30 online depending on what eGo battery and atomizer are included. Then you'll have a second battery and charger so you'll be able to figure out what is wrong with your hardware and you'll have backup hardware if anything else should go bad on you.
