I need some help! My Ego Spinner ("technically" not a Vision Spinner) is scaring me! It has worked fine for several weeks, beautifully, in fact. I use it as my out and about device, and a sigelei mini Zmax around home.

two nights ago, the button flashed, as if it needed to be charged. I guess it was relatively appropriate time wise, so I put it on the charger. After about an hour, the charger read green...it usually takes a bit longer than that. Now here's the problem: THE LIGHT KEEPS BLINKING! I can not "5 click" it off. I put a clearo on it and it wouldn't fire...then it did WITHOUT pressing the button. After a little while, the light stopped flashing, so I used a multimeter, and it showed "0 volts". Bummer, it's dead!
Then, like something out of a Stephen King novel, the darn thing rises from the dead, and starts to spontaneously blink at me! I check it with a multimeter, and it's reading anywhere from 1.99 to 3.4 volts!
Then, it's dead again!

I can't turn it off, so it is sitting all by it's lonesome in a coffee container on my front walk, away from the house. Is this thing going to blow up? How do I drain it down safely?

Now that I've freaked out, and hopefully can get some advice on the safety aspects, can this thing be repaired? Any ideas? I've read bit, but nothing seems to EXACTLY match my problem. Maybe pulling up the pin? But I'm afraid to do that if this thing is turning on spontaneously. Put it in rice to dry out any juice that might have dripped in? But again, will the rice catch fire?

My final comment is that I did contact the vendor...I'm not sure I can say who it was...but they have brick and mortar stores in Ohio...Anyway, they couldn't have been nicer. Since the battery was still under the warranty period, they are sending me a new one as we speak. These guys ROCK! I have no hesitations about purchasing from them again!

thanks in advance for your help!
