Assuming you're willing to take it apart, you could try this eGo-T Atomizer Needle Plate Removal « Zombienerd's PV Blog

Depending on how and why it died, you might be able to resurrect it by fixing the wick. If it's the atomizer itself that's dead and the wick is still fine, the cone minus needle plate looks suspiciously like a de-bridged cone atomizer and you could probably push the needle plate into one of those and see if it works.

yes i have been vaping since then.....but fulltime (no analogs at all since July 2010, when i discovered the eGo).

Ok good... Dave checks the forum every now and then, but with the new vape lounge opening, he's not been reading all the threads.

I just noticed that you've been an ECF member since November 2008. Wow! Have you been vaping ever since then?

by the way, i keep reading things about readjusting the wick. how do i know if the atty is actually DEAD or just needs a wick readjustment? i am not technical, so if it involves doing DIY electronics work, it just aint gonna happen

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the only way you can tell if the atty is dead is to use a voltage meter. Do you have one?

oh gosh no....im a girl.....lol..dont get into that kind of mechanical stuff!

There is a possibility that you have just flooded the atty. Take the tank off and blow through, holding a tissue or paper towel on the battery end to catch any juice that comes out. Then without putting the tank back on, put it back on the battery and puff to see if any smoke comes out. I don't inhaled the smoke during this time. But it is a quick way to check.

I bought one when I got my Buzz. It took me forever to learn how to use it! Someone from the Notcigs forum walked me through it step by step. If it wasn't for him, I likely would have thrown it out.

That's a great suggestion! I've never thought of doing this before.
