my ejuice changed color during the night.

Hi guys I hope everyone is having a great day. Has anyone had their ejuice turn from light to dark in their tank over night? I have a 5ml tank with a 1.5 ohm

. I got a missing box of juice in the mail yesterday and had to try some Coquito which is AWESOME. Last night it was a beautiful buttery color today it is almost black. It is still awesome just a different color. Has anyone else's juice changed colors? Thanks

its normal for juice to darken.

it could be for a couple of reasons i can think of, but nothing to be alarmed about.

Thanks. I didn't think it was a bad thing it still tastes great it is just strange. I wondered if I woke up during the night and changed my juice and didn't remember it lol. Thanks for the info. And now I can sport me a banner showing my progress. I am so happy.

I have several juices that were clear when I received them but over time have changed to nice pastel colors but never over night. It usually takes a while for it to happen. 'specially if I keep them in the dark. The change does happen quicker if I leave them sitting out in the light. I would think it would be unusual for it to happen over night like that. Darkstar must be right. The vape elves have been hard at work at your place. All I can say is, if it tastes good..... vape on.

It's amazing how much an eLiquid can change over time. I do agree with Mattiem, it usually takes a bit longer. Did you steep it with the cap off?

I've never had anything turn black period, so I agree it seems a bit crazy. As long as it tastes alright I wouldn't worry too much, but be wary of the black liquid from X-Files.

Was it a premixed liquid or made to order?

It's made to order so probably normal, and oxidation from the tank wouldn't help.

One carto tank I saw seeped "burnt" juice through the hole on the carto back into the tank.

It won't hurt anyone.

I have had a few juices turn a darker color after sitting for a few days. As far as I know its normal..

I have also noticed in my tanks the color changes from morning to evening. I use RY4 in my DCT and in the morning it goes in relatively clear and is a reddish amber in the evening. I would say it's a combination of heat (speed steeping) and equalization from the "fresh" juice in the tank to the "burnt" juice in the bottom of the carto, just my guess...

Juice turning darker is normal and good.

Almost black though? That's a little strange. Unless the carto has been used for a while, I guess I could see that.

Thanks for the great response. I tried to take a pic but I couldn't get it to show up well. It is fresh made juice from eVaporClouds which is AWESOME !!!!!!! I love Joe's juice. There was only a tiny bit left in my tank when I went to bed and when I woke up it was stange that the color had changed. I wish the those vape elves would refill it while they are at it lol. Anyhow I want to thank everyone for the info.

I keep my juice in the fridge, I heard people talking about their Johnson Creek e-liquid turning green after awhile, but that it was still safe to use, so I don't think the change is color is bad. If it still tastes like it should, I would still use it.

The older it gets and also in warm temps it will darken

I've also had liquids darken some in the tank but I figure if it still tastes good then I'll vape away on it!
