Just thought I'd share my experiences of echo batteries. I always fancied an echo auto, I've never been able to understand why 99% of PVs have manual buttons and I find it a pain that you have to keep turning it off before you put the thing in the pocket. I found a really cheap echo kit at wholesale e liquid, best e liquid, electronic cigarette juice and it arrived quickly. I chose it in black but found that the black paint scratched off easily and I didn't like the cartomizers, it's difficult to clean (even with an ultra sonic bath) and didn't last long with my liquids. I did however love the battery. I heard rumours that the battery dies if you leak liquid into it and the new design doesn't have an LED on the end. However, the newest batteries are brilliant, they're sealed with just a suction sensor so they're not damaged by leaks and the LED is on the end. So anyway, I went looking for a large clearomizer that has an 808 thread and found some Dego ones from www.vapehit.com . The problem with these is they just constantly leak with my liquids. I tried thickening my liquids with VG as well as filing the top of the cylinder down and then placing a 3mm nylon washer on top of the condom but couldn't get it vaping the same as my old ego clearomizers. Considering my black batteries were badly scratched I decided to buy silver batteries with red LEDs which came with genuine echo clearomizers. These don't leak but some liquids have a tendancy to burn due to slow wicking. I've got over this by removing the condom and cutting too small Vs in the bottom to allow quicker wicking. I'm now buying replacement genuine clearomizers from www.shopeecigarette.co.uk and I'm reasonably happy with them. The batteries are brilliant. I just wish the clearomizers were as good as the ego ones. What I don't understand is why you can't buy other automatic batteries with ego threads or rebuildable clearomizers with an 808 thread.
