While I agree with Brownbrown that refilling a KR808D-1 carto with VG based liquid will increase the vapor production... I've never been able to get them to perform as well as the 510 (or especially a mod). And it's not for lack of trying!

If using VG won't get you where you need to go, then the KR may not be the model for you.

Check out my post in the KR808D-1 forum. Same issues as you. The solution is GreenCig cartos with the 808 battery. Best of both worlds, in my opinion.

The KR808 is the only model I have tried, but I notice that I get more vapor when I take slower, lighter drags. And the manual batteries are much better for me than the autos. I also press the manual battery for a second or two to let the cartomizer heat up before I take a drag. Heating the cart before drawing seems to be the secret, at least for me.
