I got my Halo Triton on Monday and so far it has been great. I caved in on Tuesday night and had one analog. I was actually quite happy that I smoked the analog because I found that I did not enjoy it. I found that I actually prefer the taste of vaping (duh
) but more importantly I prefer the throat hit of the 18mg Halo Tribeca I am vaping.
So far I love the Triton, I do not have anything to compare it to yet but I have no complaints with it. Both the batteries (650Mah) and the tanks have lasted me more than a day.
A few tips I have found to help me out greatly switching from my Camel nonfiltered cigarettes to vaping are:
1. Keep the same smoking habits. What I mean by that is if you go outside to smoke, go outside to vape. If you smoke while you drive, start vaping while you drive. This way you won't be tempted to smoke an analog out of habit.
2. Buy some 0mg juice. I do not mean only 0mg juice. In my case I bought some 18mg, 24mg, 12mg, and 0mg juices. The 0mg juice has been very helpful since I started vaping. I can see it being very easy to overdo it when you start vaping. The 0mg lets me vape in between cravings without having to worry about getting more nicotine. When I get a craving I just switch over to my 18mg juice (i haven't tried the other strengths yet)
3. This kind of ties into #1. Don't start vaping in places that you don't smoke (yet) The focus at least for me at the moment is to switch off analogs. Until I am confident I am craving vapes instead of analogs I am not vaping anywhere I do not smoke.
That's it for the tips! I just got the email my Provari and VTR shipped
With them I also got roughly 30 more flavors of juice, some protanks, hypertanks, iclear 30s tanks, and some others I am forgetting. I can't wait to try em out
Overall I am very happy I started vaping. I can already see myself being completely off analogs much sooner and much easier than I thought it would be.
