I've only been using the Vivi Nova 2.5ml tanks and found my favorite juice to be Johnsons Creek Silverthorn. It burns up the dual coil atomizer within days. It's a super thick juice and I'm looking for the best option in a new tank setup. Help!

I vaped a metric assload of Silverthorn from a Vivi Nova back in the day. Let me suggest you dump both of them. Get yourself some rebuildables and try some other juices. JC is expensive and not that great. Also experiment with some PG/VG blends. Silverthorn is 100% VG, thick, and gunky.

Can you recommend another juice since you seem to have loved the silverthorn. Also can you recommend exact tank setups that are better than the vivi nova?

There are lots of good juice vendors and we all have our favorites. I have several vendors I use. My favorite is Heather's Heavenly Vapes. They are very clean burning juices too. Some of the flavors a Silverthorn enthusiast would like are..

Dragon's Fire
Heavenly Army
Shadow
Legend
Huntsman
Serendipity
others

As far as a tank, I would go with rebuildables but it sounds like you might be a bit new to the vape experience so I would work your way up to those. For now, your Vivi Novas will work fine for the 70/30 (PG/VG) juices. If you're going with the 100% VG then I would go with a bottom coil like a Kanger Protank (clean and dry burn after every 2 or 3 tanks). VG is significantly thicker than PG and a bit tougher to wick. I believe someone else recommended the Protanks above and they would be right.

I had the same problem with my favorite juice, hated to stop vaping it. I would burn the juice and coil in my Protank II. Luckily for me I have a local shop and they are willing to work with me on replicating the flavor using a 50/50 blend.

Hi ChiTown (lived the first 38 years of my life there). Cleaning and dry burning are essential with all attys. I would recommend a clean/dry burn after every 5 - 10mls of juice. Cleaning is just a part of the vape experience and essential. Some juices burn cleaner than others. The king of coil gunkers are NETs (Naturally Extracted Tobacco). But they're also among the best juices too. :)

Awesome thanks. Actually I was just on johnson creek website and just released a 50 50 blend of their silverthorn! I use JC because my local shop carries it, never thought to venture into other juices because of their quote 100 percent made in america

JC is expensive. I think it was $20 for a 30ml bottle back in the day when I vaped it. HHV, for example, is $13. And custom mixed when you order it. Lots of USA vendors...including HHV. Blu (those e-cigs you get at the gas station) are Johnson Creek juice.
