Well as some of you may, or may not know, it's now been 3 weeks since I picked up a vapourizer and had my last analog.

It all started about a month before I started.

I was in the smoking section at work, when a coworker came out with two "contraptions". After annoying him for a few minutes, he offed to let me try his. I instantly thought this might work, that the taste and modifiability has piqued my interest. I would repeatedly see him out side, and I would again, ask him more questions.

After some very basic info, and a few weeks of contemplation, I had decided during the middle of my shift, that I would go to the store (esteam) and inquire some more, but I knew I was walking with vaping....

Something you should know about me before I continue on; When I get into a new "hobby" or interest, i tend to go overboard at a steep rate (car, pipes, cigars, bikes). I also like to make things "mine", with either my car, phone or other object within my reach it's been tweaked.

Continuing on,
I ended up walking away from the store with an eGo C, Protank Mini 2, coils and 2 bottles of juice.

I opted to go for the Protank Mini 2 as it seemed to be less hassle, better vape and more user friendly. I had my last smoke as I drove off into the new future.

Once I got home, I was vaping non stop, to the point of feeling woozy. I put it down and started watching YouTube videos (damn you YouTube and your hours of entertainment). After what seemed like a few minutes, ended up being a few hours but I was left I awe of what's out there. I wanted more.

I went on a few days later, but felt like I wanted more, more flavour, more vapour, more everything!

5 days after getting my first device, I ordered this

As well as a few other nicknacks, another mini Protank 2, Protank 2, and a Hypertank, batteries/charger.

Really like the SID, very easy to use, love the single button menu system and feels fairly solid. Playing with the vv/vw started to get me thinking some more, and two days later I end up ordering this

Meanwhile this was in the mail, I browsed through the FS ads and ended up buying this

Soon after, package came in one by one, and felt like Christmas every one of those days.

Built my first genny style atty with SS mesh and Kanthal in the RSST, came out nice, but not the greatest. The vapour production is much better now after rebuilding a few coils, and flavour is very good. I wanted more.

I was real pleased (love instant gratification) and decided to try rebuilding my Kanger coils with ss mesh too.

And it turned out awesome!!! Much better than before with oem coil. Vapes great, great flavour, and no more gurgles!

Two days later and I'm heading to my first Vape meet. Feeling a bit nervous, I decided to bring all my stuff with me, thinking to myself, I must be going crazy taking all this with me. The meet was AWESOME!! I has such a blast, vaping the night into a foggy abyss, chatting about mods, juices, tips and tricks with so many experienced guys and gals. Seeing what everyone is vaping on, trying out different juices, mods and having some good laughs to boot!

It was then, that I was formally introduced to mechanical mods. I had been given my very first mech a K100 by MacVape! Very nice of him to do such a thing for the newbie that I am.

After drooling over some very nice and sleek looking mods (literally, that Vader Puddin is some mouth watering stuff!), I knew I wanted something "classier" than what I was using. I wanted more.

The very next day, I ordered a Nemesis and Kayfun 3.1, both clones (I'm not QUITE there yet hahaha!). Also got me some new batteries, the get delicious Vader Puddin, and more mesh and wire. Can't wait for everything to arrive!!

It's been exactly 3 weeks since I picked up my first mod. I'm sure I'll gradually taper off, as I can already see the law of diminishing returns just about to hit. But I want more.

I'm a self proclaimed Cloud Chaser, and Flavour Hunter. I have about 20 assorted juices, from store bought to DIY.

THATS IT FOLKS! Long read, but that's my beginnings!

You sound a little like me. I'm at 4 weeks now. Once I started couldn't stop. Thank goodness I have very limited funds. I'm always into something though, browsing ECF, you-tube, vendors etc. I haven't heard of any vape meets in my area but think that'd be pretty cool and a good way to make friends. Now I'm thinking of how I could start one lol. I, too, vaped so much those first couple of days that I got a little nicotine OD. Tomorrow is payday and I already have a cart waiting at one of the vendors lol. It's just so much fun :vapor:

Congratulations on giving up the smokes. If you can make a hobby out of cigars and pipes you've found your new home. Vaping is *way* more interesting than anything with tobacco in it, and you'll find it smells a lot better too.

So you think you're nearly there? But you haven't looked at box mods like the bottom feeding Reo yet...

reosmods.com

There's a very active Reo forum here in the the Vendor's section as well. Drop in and see us.

 Mwehehehaa. My work here is done.

ETA: From an ego to a K100 + RSST in three weeks? Very impressive.

Congrats and keep going!! When all my orders finally arrive...damn FT...I'll be up to 20-22 mods and all the accessories and I've only been vaping for less than six weeks. Don't feel bad about the clones at all. I have a King, Kalafan Nemesis, and real Chi You and their counterparts and they all work the same. It's a metal tube and battery combo...how intricate and innovative can they get?
