Should I bother thoroughly cleaning it? Pull the flavor wick(s)? Dry burn?

First flavor: 100% VG Crisp Green Apple

I did opt for the EVOD Glass version.

I'm pretty excited to get vaping on my own rig.

i would just wash the tank with soap and warm water, and the prime the wicks on the side of the coil and give a few dry pulls before to make sure you get juice to the coil, dont worry about dry burning unless you have to after a few tank fills. i could be wrong have only been vaping for about 2 months but when i got that as a starter kits thats all i did and worked well. congrats on quiting you will find lots of helpful people here and lots of good advice. good luck

Welcome to ECF and congrats on making the switch!

First thing (assuming its a kit) would be to fully charge the battery (painful i know), and while its charging give the tank a quick look/rinse and then assemble/fill it, let it sit so the wicks have time to fully absorb the flavor/juice, then when the battery is charged, vape away!:vapor:

if you got 100% vg from a vendor it may already be diluted too.. I know you can tell100% pure vg if it is like sludge almost like jello just before it becomes jello, if it looks non viscous or not too thick you should be pretty well off :) .. I would imagine most 100% vg liquid bought for vaping as a finished product is diluted already or else it would be a major pain for anyone but I have never actually bought 100% so this is just a consideration, I may try to make some tho, 75/25 is working alright so far as the highest vg blend I have gotten into and I like it. if you do continue to need to dilute it with a little water I would say get some distilled you can get a gallon for 88 cents at Walmart or something

this stuff is definitely diluted. some are more syrupy than others- the grape & fruit cup are pretty much the viscosity of water, the tobacco caramel and vanilla custard are like thin pancake syrup. Both are from VCV
