My first atomizer.. 6 days

So today and part of yesterday I noticed a reduced amount of vapor and that it was hard to pull air thru the tank. I am using an ego c rebuildable atomizer. I have been wiping the atomizer daily and cleaning the cone that it sits in with cu tips everyday. So today after work i googled ways to clean an atomizer head, saw a video of a guy taking the atomizer apart exposing the wick and doing a dry burn. I destroyed it when i tried taking it apart LOL but thats besides the point. My questions is this 6 day atomizer pretty typical and if not what can I do besides wiping it, taking slow pulls etc to pro long the life of it.

Before you say try a clearo/carto i want to say I am looking into that but I wanted to see how to prolong an atomizer.

What kind of juice are you using? Flavor and PG/VG breakdown?

Hmmm, weird...bottom line is that your attys should last a lot longer than 6 days. You really shouldn't have to mess with it every day, either. You aren't using a juice that would cause premature gunking, so no idea what's up with the one you have. May just be bad, it happens.

I don't think 6 day atomizers are normal. I'm used to having my carto/tank setups last longer than a month.
Remember, all cartomizers are atomizers, but not all atomizers are cartomizers.
I notice keeping my cartomizers moist, but not flooded, prolongs their life. Gentle pulls work better for me, than sharp, short pulls.
