So, I am on my way to work with my usual set up - ProVari Mini, carto tank, backup battery, and some juice, and tank filler. No extra cartos (yeah I know). I am with my husband in the car (we work together) and we get a few blocks, I get a split second of burnt taste and an E1 error on my ProVari. Actually never had that happen before, and I just changed the carto last night and it was vaping just fine.

We were running a bit late too, so I told my husband to keep going. He pulls into a gas station to turn around to go home. My first thought is okay we are at a gas station, I can get a pack of cigarettes. Did not even think of a disposable NJoy for the day.

Anyways, after 8 months of vaping, it surprised my that I thought that. Not that I really wanted to smoke. I was just stressed out and didn't want to deal with it.

And yeah, I now got a bunch of cartos with my daily vape stuff, along with my other ProVari just in case.

Besides the "and what have we learned?" part I wanna know if hubby actually did take you back home? If he did - that one's a keeper!

Yes he did. I grabbed another tank and we made it to work with 1 minute to spare.

ETA: Yea, I cannot return him, I lost the receipt, and no one else with take him cuz they gotta feed him (a big job).

I always have extra Atomizers, Batteries, Juice on me.

Luckily I haven't had a Mod break in the middle of the day so no need to carry a extra mod.

I'd never want to go more than an hour and a half without vaping, I'd be climbing the walls.

He wisely realized I was not gonna make it though a 9hour work day with no vapeage. And I have since repacked my case and threw in in my purse, so I won't forget it.

I've always maintained a proper emergency kit should contain the following: 2 dozen batteries (make sure you include another dozen for the ohm tester), 100 feet of wire, 10 pounds of wick material, 5 gallons of juice, tool box for repairs and rewicking and 4 battery chargers.

In your case, add 30 extra cartos and 5 tanks. :D

Ok my purse is not that big. LMAO. I'd need luggage on wheels for all that.

Actually it's now 2 ProVaris, and extra battery for each, an extra tank (empty - pyrex does occasionally break), several cartos, tank filling tool, and juice.

And just where is your private jet, satellite phone with the number of your pilot, and GPS pre-programmed with the 1,000 closest 24 hour vape shops? :D

I dont bring a spare unless im going to work. If its 8 hours i cant deal, if its 2-3 im fine. Worst case disposables! Ive been thinking about getting a pass through for work emergencies ;) lol. Glad you didnt end up smoking yuck

"Me too" on that one. I left for a long afternoon of errands once and forgot my kit. Once I got past my 15 second freak out I was more P.O.'d than anything else. At that point I was far enough in that the idea of buying cigarettes was just sooo not gonna happen. I'm one of those people who completely turned around when I started vaping in short order. They just went gross, really quick. I cringe at even the thought of what a cigarette would taste/smell like now.

Funny though how we seem to forget about the disposable option. I have tried an nJoy King and that would definitely work if I was desperate. But at $8.99 each - I'd have to be really desperate. (It would get you through a half day of vaping - tops - before the battery poops out.)

I've kept a spare Ego, charger, 2 cartos and a 5 ml bottle of juice at work since I started vaping, "Just in case" :D I've never actually needed them although I have changed the bottle of juice a few times and tried out the ego and charger to be sure its working if I should ever really need it :) Not a big deal anymore since I don't need to vape, but I still like knowing that its there IF I want it.

Glad to hear you (or was it your husband?) were able to avoid vapemageddon...

For me, I put in a fully charged 18650 and top off the tank in my Zen standard before heading off to work. No extra batts, mods, wicks, wire, juice, etc. I've broken the fused quartz tank only twice in the nearly year and a half I've had the mod. I just went without the rest of the day. Oh well... That's not to say everything was rainbows and unicorn farts those two days, but it made me realize that yes, I can make it through (most of) a work day without sucking on my PV like a pacifier. Could I be more prepared? Sure... Do I want to carry around extra batts, mods, wicks, wire, juice, etc.? Nope! :D

Since I'm a firm believer in both Murphy's Law and having backups for backups, my daily "go kit" right now consists of:

ProVari w/full tank
Spare tank (full)
Spare 18650 for ProVari
Spinner battery, fully charged
Evod for Spinner (full)
Spare heads for Evod

It all fits neatly in a little zippered diabetic supply case (except the ProVari, which is in the cupholder or in my hand). Next plan of action is to buy a ProVari mini as the backup device, with the Spinner relegated to third seat (it's small and takes up very little room anyway, might as well keep it in the kit).

since I'm old I started worrying about having to suddenly go to the hospital (I know, I'm a little weird). my husband is not a vaper and would not care if I was left without my vaping stuff (or cigs) so I made up a little emergency kit with batteries, juice delivery, chargers and liquid. so he can just grab that for me (or face my extreme wrath lol)
