My first build

Ok so I built my first coil and it's was with 28 Guage a1 kanthal with 12 wraps bringing it to 1.6 ohms. I used cotton and 50/50 liquid. Problem is I wasn't really getting and vapor off it. Flavor was there but no barely and vapor. So if u could look at my build and give me some constructive criticism and tips I would really appreciate it.

maybe you over saturated it? or coil is too tight on the cotton? theirs an art to getting just the right amount of juice onto the wick to get it chucking

Yeah the cotton was pretty tight

the cotton needs some room to expand when its saturated with juice! try rewicking

Airflow restriction may be part of the problem also.

Yeah I thought that too. I don't like it too airy though

coil might be too "heavy", meaning much metal,

I would try some with less wraps

Higher voltage/wattage might help if you are running thst coil on a vv/vw device.
