My first coils

Sharing some pictures of my first coils. I've only been rebuilding for 1.5-2 months so I'm learning as I go and experimenting. Some work well, others? Not so much

Feedback/critique welcomed.

First coil ever. Way too much wick.

Twisted 28g micro, not perfect but it worked.

Then I picked up a Big Block 454 and tried some vertical builds. Vertical twisted 28g parallel.

I liked this one a lot. Flavor machine.

Back in the old rda, made a zipper. The coil worked nice, but the rda it was in sucks. (Note the turned negative post -_- )

Currently fiddling with a plume veil and using a 24g/28g clapton. The dna30 box it's sitting on is the limiting factor here but I like this setup a lot. 7 wraps, .48 ohms.

Thanks guys, and will do. These don't take terribly long, maybe a half hour for the more complicated ones/ones with more wire.

Side bar: all my coils are powered by a DNA30 box so I'm limited there. Would doing a fused clapton with say, 2-3 28g core and 32g wrap increase or decrease ramp up time compared to the 24g/28g clapton?
