My First DIY Recipe: Black Cherry, Yumm!

So i had 20-30min of free time just a bit ago.. after recieving my DIY kit just yesterday its been burning a hole through my brain to use it.

So having a bit of spare time ( I should be at work, but i took a half day to finish up a project for finals tomorrow, so i SHOULD be doing charts and graphs...)... i couldnt wait any longer... i HAD to whip up a small taster.

Recalling that there was a NEW expert flavoring included courtesy of dawn, inside my new DIY kit (side note.. this thing is sooo cute... it fits perfectly underneath my monitor section of my desk... ill post a pic later. my desk is a mess atm.) i decided to brew up a 5ml sample of this flavor.

Reading the "warning this is potent stuff" sheet... it recommended using 4-8%.. so i started with 5%... here are all the numbers....

Target Nic % 18mg
Amount Needed: 5ml
60/40 VG/PG

60mg VG base Nic: 1.5ml
VG NON Nic Base: 1.25ml
Water/Vodka/PGA: 0
PG Base: 2ml
Flavoring: .25ml

Ok this is where it started. and it was bland. SO i went and added 1/16ml(4drops) which brought the flavoring up to 7.5%... Here, the Black Cherry was pretty bold.. but it wasnt sweet at all.. SOOOO.. i added 2 drops of Ethyl Malto(sp?)... and BINGO!

Thoughts: This is some bold juice... its hella flavorful, plenty sweet.. and the vapor production: CLOUDS on a LR atty. Th is a bit light for some reason.. so sure why though.
(edited: Figured out why i wasnt getting any throat hit... i had been vaping Thin Mints ALL day before i got into this, thin mints is a hard core juice.. brushed teeth.. ate some bread and came back at this black cherry.. TH revived!)


So there it is... my first attempt at DIY..

Edited: Afterthought,, i think i might bump the next batch up to 10% flavoring.. might knock meh socks off!

Update:

Im not sure i would recommend going over 10% on the Black Cherry Flavoring...

I increased from 7.5%.. to 10%... and whoa! The Flavor is Strong in it now... i had to add an extra drop of the sweetener to counter balance it... so that bring it up to 3 drops of sweetener total.

Summary: I was right 10% on this "Expert DIY Flavoring" WILL knock your socks off!

GREATTT,,, thats what i wanted.. loranns and the others need way too much so i am having these expert flavorings made..

it takes time.. but i will be adding the ones i have in the store shortly.. these are all made just for me..... I am going to list these under THE HOUSE OF FLAVORS
these are highly concentrated and i will be offering 4 different sizes..

alsoo eythol malto is in and that will be added to the store.

New products in the DIY kits are 1ml needleless syrings with cap and the Eythol Malto.
