Hiya, I only just found this site, unfortunately after I've just got my first e-cig. Its the Super Cigarette (model RN4081 I think, if that rings a bell but something along those lines) I got off eBay, for £40 with 50 carts. I kinda like it, but it did leak quite alot when I was using it first of all which wasn't pleasant at all, and the atomiser was defective but got another one. Thing is, I'm used to smoking rollies (specically Golden Virginia, with filters, normally around 5 a day, though if its a day with socialising can go up to 40 sometimes). I have a habbit whereby I exhale very slowly and I love the soft, cusion-like feeling of the smoke. But these carts I got (high strength) are soo darn rough it feels as if I've smoked a whole pack of straights in ten minutes after a few big drags on the e-cig. Not only is it really irritating my throat, with me having to cough alot, but I can't exhale slowly because its far too uncomfortable. I'll be watching the recent thread in this forum of the member who was looking for something smooth closely.

Also, something I was wondering: I can't see my self getting through a whole cartridge with the way they currently feel, so can you buy a mouth piece to fit my model and some fibre to drip the smoother e-liquid into,or do I have to smoke my high carts down and refil 'em?

And also, can you guys reccommend two different stengths for when I want to be constantly puffin' and for when I want a burst of buzz?

Thanks for your help, I would have given up on this blumin' thing had I not found the site.

Pretty much exactly the same smoking habits as me, Golden Virginia, normally Rizla Extra Slim filters, and whatever papers I can get my hands on - 10 a day is about average for me.

I'm getting exactly the same effects you mention above, and I'm not used to it at all (even though I don't smoke much now, when I was in college I used to smoke all sorts - filterless (Senior Service, Woodbines, Capstans), imported USA Marlboro 100s (they were much stonger than the EU ones)... so I know what a 'strong' cigarette tastes like, and don't mind it.

The irritation I'm getting is a bit frustrating, I'm hoping it goes away with a couple of days use, and hopefully smoother liquid :)

I've answered the other post about smoothness.

Have a look at this thread for information on nicotine - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/nicotine/2789-eliquid-potency.html

You'll have to work out yourself how much eliquid you use and what's your need. I use low for constant use and higher sometimes for a short time for a bit of a buzz.

Cartridges can be squeezed and the juice diluted with other juice or glycerine.

Welcome to the forum both of you, I hope you enjoy it here.

Ah yeh, extra slim filters makes the baccy last longer eh? I actually do enjoy the occasional straight, but very rarely buy a pack for myself, only usually for the novelty of having an old-school soft pack so I can tap one out onto my palm or have the filter end poking out (of the specially crafted) hole and get it out using my mouth for fun. Haha, just like in the films.

Another question - whats this VG people are talking about in regard to mixing e liquid?

From browsing the forum I've accertained the following info:

Mix the e-liquid of choice with glycerin (50/50) for a smoother smoke.

Do tabacco flavours come in any different standard "marked" (as in labelled, named) flavours or are they all different tasting and just called "regular" or "tobacco" and you have trial and error it to see which one you like?
