Hello. I have decided that i will stop smoking and start vaping =). Since i am a total newbie at this i would like you guys to help me.

I was looking 2 ecigs and i dont know which one to buy. One is joytech ego one and the other is istich 30W. Which one do you guys think i should get

Ego one is a complete set so i only need liquids and i can start vaping right ? How often do you need to replace coil on ego ? Anythingelse i should know about it ?

Istick 30w is only a battery if i understand correctly? I need to buy atomizer for the istick right ? Which atomizer do you guys prefer ? Not anything too much expensive. I would like to sub vape so atomizer needs to me 0,5 ohm right ? How long does coil last on this istick ?

From what site should i buy replacement coils and other things that i will need in the future?(any good non expensive one ?)

Anything else you guys need to tell me ?

Ty in advance

In my opinion the best starter kit a smoker can get is the iStick 30W paired with the Nautilus Mini. The Nautilus Mini was my game changer when I quit smoking.

My Freedom smokes is having a sale that ends today on coils 40% off CODE "JUNE40COIL". Mount Baker has the Nautilus Mini at $25.

Coil life depends on the e juice and amount of usage. Sweeter darker e juices tend to gunk up a coil faster. Usual life before gunking is 10 days to two weeks. The Nautilus Coils can be rebuilt. When I get a gunked coil I just let it sin in vodka for a week, juggling it every once in a while, blow it out and let dry. It won't be like new but you'll get more life out of it.

Good luck in your vape journey, life only gets better when you switch to vape.

I can't see the eGo one as a beginner device. However, if you KNOW you want to sub-ohm and vape at high power already, then go for it.
Personally, although it's a sleek and nice-vaping bit of hardware, there is no chance of one ever finding it's way into my collection. Such lack of flexibility. Such a poor clearomiser compared to many of the others.
My opinion is put the 0.5ohm coil in the Subtank Mini (it comes with the 0.5 installed) on an iStick and find what works for you. You can choose to vape from 10w to 25w straight off. It might be possible to get to 30w even.
The 0.5ohm coil in the eGo one kicks in straight at 35 watts. Too hot for me. Then, if you swap the coil to 1.0ohm you'll get 17.5 watts. That's 2 choices vs total flexibility.

One more question about the tank. In my shop the subtank mini is out of stock. They only have subtank nano. Is there a huge difference beside how much liquid it holds. I think 3 ml is enough to get me through the day. The other thing i found out is that nano doesnt have RBA, it only has OCC. Whats the main difference between them ? you can change coils on both of them... SO whats the difference ?

First off, if you want amazing flavor off the bat going with a iStick 30W + a decent tank will do you way better than the ego one. And as far as finding a tank goes, I'd say try to find another nearby place (or you could even order online if you have the patience) with a Subtank mini. Learning how to build on the mini's RBA would is a stepping stone into the world of dripping if you ever decide to venture into that territory.

Welcome Sibuns :)

The Subtank Mini supposedly holds around 5mL juice. A little less with the rebuildable deck (RBA) compared to the OCC (pre-built coil.) Both the STM and the STN can use the OCC coils. The Nano cannot use the rebuildable deck.

I like to build my own coils, so I like the RBA portion of the Mini. Most of the time, however, I prefer the size of the Nano (and I find the need to change flavors often, so I don't like leaving half a tank in the Mini around for tooooo long. I just get bored quickly :D )

Making a physical coil is not all that difficult. The difficulty lies in getting the right resistance, getting it mounted on the RBA deck properly, getting it wicked correctly so that you don't get a dry hit (which tastes incredibly nasty, if you haven't experienced one.....)

The OCCs are amazing for "plug-n-play". I tend to leave my rebuildables at home because I would become one grumpy human if I was out and something happened to my build/wicking and I had no tools with which to repair it. I don't carry rebuildable supplies - just mod, couple of tanks and maybe juice, if I'm going to be out for awhile.

Ok i have new 2 devices that i am picking from. One is kanger subox mini kit and the other one is istick 30w with kanger subtank mini. Price is about the same. My question is: should i get istick30w now or wait for kanger kit to be in stock ?
You could always get the istick 30w now and the Kanger subox mini kit later when it's back in stock - you will need a backup !!

It's always good to have a Plan B. Imagine having a carton of analog smokes and not being able to find a lighter. Kinda the same thing. I keep a small tool box with all my rebuilding supplies handy. If I'm going on a road trip I take an extra set of batteries, at least 2 tanks, some wire, cotton, scissors, tweasers, juice, etc in a small (6"x2"x1") leather bag. If you go with the pre-built coils, you don't have to take as much with you. Just an extra coil and battery and some juice.

The Nano vapes the same as the Mini with the same OCC coil.

It's difficult (if not impossible) to get 3ml liquid in it. The tank might be 'rated' as 3ml, but is nearer 2.5ml real-world-filling I think. (Just under 2.5ml?)
