I am new to the vaping scene and immediatly after a short stint with a calculator determined I am behooved to make my own juice. \

I placed an order, read and read and read and am still reading everything I can about DIY, and finally today my package will come in.

My first recipe that I wrote up and have after reading adjusted about 12 times will be a Mix I am calling, "Incredible Hulk".

It will be Green apple primary, cool mint secondary, with traces of cucumber and key lime.

I will get it mixed, speed steeped, and tested tonight and report back...then I will let it set for a while more to age steep and try again and post the new results.

I am extremely pumped to start mixing and testing juices.

In my reply to this post I will give you my opinion and if good i will give the exact mix, if bad I will recommend never trying...lol.

I wish you luck. Make sure to only make a small batch to minimize the waste if it is garbage. I just started mixing about a week ago, I do one new mix each night (8 batches so far), all have been "alright" but only one has been good (even it needs a tweak next time I make it). Tonight I will be hopefully putting the finishing touches on a clone of Blue Moonshine (my favorite store bought juice).

You can also look through Recipe files to see what percentages other people use each flavor at. For your 2.5-3ml batches I assume you are doing 100 drop tests? This is the same method I use and it has served me well (I just wish I ordered more drippers). The good thing with more fruity flavors is that it is hard to get something that is just awful. My son went down for his nap so I decided to mix up 3rd draft of my Blue Watermelon. Still didn't get the exact flavor of the clone I was going for, but I am very happy with the results:

Blue Watermelon (All TFA flavorings)
10% Watermelon
5% Blueberry(Extra)
2% Strawberry
2% Sweet Cream
2% EM

I will see how the flavor adjusts over some time, but currently I think this is my final draft for this recipe, I love the flavor. Can't wait till I get a bit more hardware, and I am thinking about ordering a bunch of dropper bottles so I can have a bottle with each of my flavors to quickly do 100 drop tests without having to clean droppers between flavors or afterwards.

Good luck to you. It really is quite rewarding. I look forward to reading your posts and sharing your enthusiasm. (sharing enthusiasm means stealing recipes)

is it normal to find it hard to becritical of yourself? I had an idea going in what I wanted this to taste like and in my first batch without steeping I love it. It's a very cool and slightly sweet flavor and will probably end up being my adv. I'm not going to put the recipe here I will add it to the recipe forum, so please go take a look and try it out and let me know what you think.
