Now, I've been vaping for 5 months, and having a strong science and math background, I've also read an extensive amount about all kinds of various areas of vaping related knowledge, from battery safety, to diacetyl studies. So, my misadventure in vaping is entirely user error, specifically user forgetfulness.

i progressed from an itaste VV with a Kanger PT3 mini to a Mutation X on a IPV3, including mechs and just about everything else except cartos in the span of about 1.5 months. (Recently I did the Carto thing, just to have that under the belt as well) So, I know all about what I dhould do, and not do, but this is what happened anyway.

Recently I acquired an Aspire Atlantis tank. I was running it on my IPV2 (my favorite mod) when I wondered how it would. Work on my Manhattan. Needless to sat, when I screwed it on, it not only looked bad (my Manhattan is black) it wouldn't even fire. Well I wasn't going to screw around with changing out the pin to the longer one, so I tried it on my Stingray X.

Worked great, used this combo for a few days due to the connvienence and how cool it looked together, plus ease of use.

... Then I went to the bar.

everything was going fine until I put it in my jacket inside breast pocket which I was wearing. Needless to say, I neglected to set the locking ring.
So after about 5 minute, I'm like ... Ow! !@%£!! Ow! I immediately tealize this thing has bern firing in my pocket, but it is too hot to grab. I snag a napkin, pull it out and use another napkin. To immediately get the battery out. The battery was warm, but the whole top of the mod was too hot to touch. There was just about a tenth of a ml of juice left. It took almost 10 minutes to cool down to where I could put it together.

Fortunately, it worked fine (exactly as before) with no burnt flavor. I was lucky.

Whew! Anybody else do dumb stuff like this.

One night at work I put my iPV2 in my pocket without the touch sensor turned off and a little bit of water or juice got on that sensor and it was firing in my pocket for a couple minutes. I only knew because I felt my leg starting to get really warm. Took the mod out and turned it off and let it cool down. I couldn't take the battery out because of the stupid screws on the back. So that was pretty scary.

I also had an incident with my Smok Omnitester. I was going to check the voltage drop on my Cronus mech so I screwed it on to the tester had it set to the volt setting and fired my mod. My mod started getting super hot so I took the battery out and it was pretty warm so I let it sit and cool off. It definitely shorted my battery somehow so I threw it away and got a black box tester. And that battery wouldn't charge anymore so I had to throw out a VTC4 :(

Put my mech in my shirt pocket yesterday. I was talking with a dr in the ER where I had taken my father. I crossed my arms and it put enough pressure to fire it.My nipple burning was my first clue followed by the acrid smell of burning cotton. scorched the beegeebers out of it. Gave the Doc a good laugh though. Worst part besides the embarrassment was it was the only set up I had with me so I had to vape from that nasty wick for the rest of the day. I was vaping one of my DIY juices so I am going to rename that one to burning nips, since its a hot cinnamon it fits.

Look at my Stingray wrong and the Ring backs off - lock(Yea Right)

I have had it happen twice now. Fortunately both times it was in the Mod stand, not my pocket and yes EXTREMELY HOT. Stingray has a hair trigger less than 1mm throw to fire.

Oh and I like your Moxy. 1.5 Months and you have the ins/outs down. I'm over 2 years in own several thousand in gear(wholesale or below) and still learning almost daily.
