I made my first mod today. I used a battery box for 2 AAA batteries. The mod consists of a single IMR10440 battery, on/off switch and a momentary switch for vaping. The mod works but the box cracked a little near the atomizer connector. I also had to remove some plastic from the top where the momentary contact switch is located. It isn't the prettiest mod but it works, and it is my first mod. Here are some pictures.

Very nice, good call on the IMR 10440. Hadn't seen an IMR cell that small used in a mod before. Those are good for 8C which gives you a maximal current capability of just under 3A. You can pretty much drive anything with that.

Thank you for your kind words. After hearing some horror stories I decided all my mods would be the safer IMR chemistry. I have hit it pretty hard and the little battery doesn't even seem to warm up. They have lower capacity than standard Li-Ion cells but I will think that is a fair trade with having a "safer" battery.
