Haha I am so addicted to e cigs I watched a video on hole exactly the atomizer work with are flow and I said why the hell not I have a spare minu pro tank laying around and I decided to go balls deep into it!!! So I got a 7/64 drill bit ( this is maximum suggested size) and I drilled out the 3 air holes and now it vapes twice as much vapor!!!!! No heating up after chain vaping!!!!! And the flavor is amazing!!!!

This mod literally took 5 minutes and I am amazed at the result its all about science people!!!!

I currently purchasing my first dripping rba atomizer and diy liquid supplies and we are going to get some could over here people!!!!

I really want to modify my kanger aero tank now but this is a rather expensive tanks so suggestions before i start would be awesome????

Just get the version 2 air flow control on your aerotank and if your not already build some single coils to around 1.6 ohm and wick with cotton. I recently put the version 2 air flow control on mine and you wont believe the difference in flavor and vapor. I use 80/20 pg/vg juice and it vapes like 50/50 now.

Idk I have one for my kanger aero tank and I think that this mod flow more air to the coil well I know it does because the holes are bigger than on the aerotank with adjuster

Hi so turns out that the housing on the kanger mini protank 2 is brass......(EDIT) what a revolution!!! Anywhoo I got the old dremel out again and now I cleaned up the airholes which stopped the whistling and now I have a brass look on chrome tank I know its not pretty but I am modding with a dremel and a pair off pliers so shoot me!!!

So the only issue you've had with this is a little whistling? I've been considering having my husband do something similar to my mini PT2, but I only have 3 tanks and don't want to ruin/ not be able to use one.

I am happy with it on mine now I would caution dont go all the way to 7/64 do it in steps vaping in between to your desired air flow size dont want to much aor in there lol or if you dont want to mess up your tank I would get the aero base version 2 for the mini protank

Yeah, I wasn't thinking of going much bigger than 1/16, and that's because I don't know if he has any smaller drill bits than that! No funds for additional hardware ATM, so I can't try other bases right now. I'll keep giving this some thought... definitely let you know if we decide to give it a try though. :vapor:

Nice!!!! that looks like a squeaky clean job to :toast:

lol that is exactly the setup that I started with what you have in the picture nice sleak lil package huh

What did you think about vapor production? More of it? More dense?

He does a good job. :) I really like the mini PT2-- I've got a regular PT2 too, and a T3S that's no longer in service since I got the PT2. Vapor production is definitely better, a lot more of it. Not sure about density, but I do mouth-lung inhales so it's harder for me to tell.

I gotcha now from that I moved to the vision spinner 2 with kanger areotank version 1 and modified that in a similar way lol now I have moved to regulated box mods and aspire nautilus all the while starting on the sub ohm dripping to lol you modded that one keep going to find that better and better vape

Heh, I AM thinking about having him deepen the grooves on my PT2 now... you know, so they match. ;) Husband does the dripping and sub-ohming. I can tell from watching him that those aren't for me. Too much fiddling! I think I'll stick with rebuilding my kanger heads and enjoying the simplicity of fill-and-vape-for-the-day, but the mod on the mini was most definitely worth it. :vapor:

Well, decided to have him drill out the airholes on the PT2 too:

Airflow is definitely improved on this one now too! :thumb: Still considering filing out the grooves on the bottom of the base because it's still not quite as open as the mini is now, but I'm not sure if it would improve things enough to be worth the effort.

So question what size hole did you drill in that? And so are you going to buy a new beauty ring amd slot it or just slot your?

Lol you ciuld add some class to it by drilling idk 6 holes around the center of the beauty ring and filling all but 2 with idk like shiney rhinestones lol??

I think he used a 1/16th bit on this one too. I was thinking about just making the two air channels that are already cut into the bottom of the base a little bit deeper than they are.

When you say beauty ring, do you mean the sorta bell/cone-shaped adapter thing? (that was NOT mentioned OR pictured in the crappy instructions that come with kanger products... my only gripe with them is less than helpful instructions... had to figure that one out myself when I suddenly had juice pouring down my ego!) Hehe, I hadn't thought of doing anything with that. Hmmm... more things to think about!
