My First Order is IN

I vaped and almost quit smoking in June 2010 ... did a little again about 6 months ago ... this time, I'm in it to stick, with a plan of NO analogs by new year's! I've upgraded from th e510 to the Ego (to arrive later this week) and got what sounds like fantastic and healthier juices on the way. I ordered samplers of the:

Bella Amaretto
Caramel Kettle Corn
Christmas Stollen
Hot Buttered Rum
Kir Royale
Mango Mint Julep

I guess I'll find my fave's and order them full-size, and try samples of some more flavors--the Kona Velvet Milkshake sounds amazing, but I couldn't try EVERYTHING all at once! LOL! If this stuff can get me off the cigarettes which have been my constant companion for over 40 years, I will be healthier and happier and so very thankful!

With these juices, it's definitely a big help getting off the analogs. Before I discovered VV, I had just made the switch from 35'ish years of analogs (pack a day) and was still having cravings for the ashtray fodder due to the harshness and/or horrible tasting juices I had first found. After discovering these juices, my cravings turned to trying many different flavors because they are just that good!

Here's to a ....-less new year! (ahh, Pina colada)

I definitely need to try the Pina Colada! Not in this first order, though I did get 10 ordered instead of 6, so I WILL get to try the KVM!

Indeed! Annette's customer service is a force to be reckoned with! Out of all the flavors you've listed, I haven't tried a one of them, but I have no doubt they'll ALL be good choices.

(The jury is out on the Christmas Stollen...but if anyone can make fruit cake taste good, I bet VV can.)

Deborahsu you will be very pleased with these fabulous juices. If you have a bad day or two don't get discouraged... I went through that this weekend....nothing tasted good and I knew it wasn't the juices fault Not often, but from time to time I will have a day or two that nothing seems good...previously I have gone back to a stinky...but not this time..I realized it's just part of the journey..put up with it and things seem to be getting back on track. For me...mint or menthol seems to help. Best of luck for a totally smoke free 2012

Honey, I made amazing fruitcake that even fruitcake haters have admitted tastes good! I know the juice can't approach it, but what the heck! I'll try it!

I've read through this forum and love the sharing & support. Thank you for welcoming me in that same spirit. IF I don't get ENTIRELY off the analogs by new year's it won't be the end of the world--I'm not giving up this time.

What other 4 flavors did you get Deborahsu? I have tried the Mango Mint Julep its very good as well as the Pina Colada (that tastes just like a Pina Colada OMG!!!). My personal favorite is the Cherry Vanilla Swirl. That is my all day vape!

I am working on breaking a 39 yr habit and loving my ego, Boge LR cartomizers (Annette carries these) and my Virgin Vapor juices. I started by cutting down to ten a day while trying to get the hang of vaping, then down to about three a day, and am currently having a morning smoke and evening smoke. I was a miserable failure at every other method of quitting and generally only lasted two hours before my anxiety over quitting would have me smoking twice as much as usual.
Currently calling my morning and evening smokes my pacifier ciggies. They sure don't taste very good but I am not mentally ready to give them up and I am o.k. with that, for today. Look forward to you sharing your transition journey.

• Bella Amaretto ... because I truly enjoy the flavor, and it's reported as being true
• Caramel Kettle Corn ... if it tastes both sweet and salty, wow!
• Christmas Stollen ... I'm weird. I LOVE fruitcake!
• Hot Buttered Rum ... a comforting, warm flavor, I hope
• Kir Royale ... I had a strawberry champagne flavor elsewhere that was quite good
• Mango Mint Julep ... LOVE mango. LOVE mint
• Mint Chocolate Chip ... only the best ice cream flavor ..
• Root Beer Float ... shades of childhood! I didn't smoke then ...
• Red Hot Cinnamon ... this may be good alone, or for pepping up other flavors
• Kona Velvet Milkshake ... sounds amazing!
• Bananas Foster ... mmmmm

We'll see how they taste on arrival ... and again later when my taste buds begin to recover!

Oh wow... between the ego and the VV, you are SET with the perfect arsenal to get off those stinky cigs for good! Yay, for you!!! Good luck!!! You'll be amazed how easy it is once you have a satisfying pv and good juices. BTW, don't know if you know about this or not, but most people who use the ego don't use the atty's cartridges that come with the kit. Attys are great for tasting flavors, and you can just 'drip' 2 or 3 drops thru a driptip onto atty bridge to do that. But what most people use for majority of their vaping are Cartomizers. Two really fantastic cartomizer choices are the Boge (in Standard or Low resistance) and the Resurrectors (low resistance). The performance is outstanding, and if you pick one of the LR options, you get the simulated effect of vaping at a higher voltage, which is much 'zingier' especially if you're looking for something that satisfies cravings. You may already have discovered all that, but since you said you just ordered ego, figured it was worth a mention. Plus, you can vape for hours and hours on a carto, they're very long lasting (I go thru about 15 a month, but that is because I keep a separate carto for each flavor. If i were only vaping a few, I'm guessing I'd need only about 6 or 7 cartos per month) plus they can be cleaned between flavors if you really want them to last. Good luck! Crossing fingers! but seriously, with VV juices and your ego, you are WELL on your way to being a non smoker!

btw, you got my very fave flavor (mango mint julep) in there, but i also love the KCM, ButterCream Mint, Vanilla Blackberry Swirl, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Sweet Summer Lemonade.

In my previous attempts, I discovered that I LOVE clearomizers!!! I like being able to see how much liquid is in there, and I never get the burnt taste that cartos with filler always seem to come up with before even finishing one fill. I see that Annette carries some, so I'll give them a try when I finish up the stash that I have .... will check out Crystal Clear Vaping, too--thanks!!!

The mint chocolate chip is the bomb! It is my 2nd favorite VV juice. You'll love it! Tastes just like the ice cream with out the calories!!!

As others have stated, Deborahsu, welcome and best of luck. I'm currently almost 2 weeks into vaping after being a smoker for over 20 years. When I get a craving, I just take 5 minutes on my pv and they disappear. I never would have thought it possible! And it got me through Thanksgiving day with my wife's entire family over at our place (20 people!). I'm currently loving the Hot Buttered Rum so good choice with that.
