Besides the fact that I would seriously recommend bloog, do a quick search online for e-cig reviews and see if any products match your smoking habits. Other than that, imo the top-tier for starters (and others) consists of: bloog, v2, greensmoke, safecig, etc.. but DO look into eGo and Inferno products if you want to dive right in.. ;)

pm me if you want a 15% discount off of bloog. welcome aboard!! :)

I'm partial to Cignot.com, while they don't have the Riva, they do have the eGo, which is the brand name original.

I'd also recommend trying the eGo-T (tank system) instead of the Atomizer/cartridge or Cartomizer route. It's easier to use, easier to refill, and lasts a long time.

Cignot has top notch customer service, super fast shipping (most orders are out the same day), and their prices are pretty darned good.

The Riva 510 from Liberty Flights is a FABULOUS first choice!
Don't forget in the upper left hand corner of their website is a little button that says 20% off. Click that BEFORE shopping/putting things in your cart (it won't give you the discount if you push the button after). I WASTED so much money in the beginning buying inferior e-cig's, then about one or two weeks in I found out about the Joye Ego/Riva 510/all the other clones, and really wished that I had done my home work before spending several hundred on PV'S that only had a battery last for an hour at most.
You will LOVE the Riva, it gets 8-10 hours out of a single charge, and the kits come with two batteries, and Liberty Flights is selling it for $29.99 after you push that little button! That my friend is the best deal on the net.
I ended up buying a T-Rex (the same thing, a Joye Ego clone) from esmokeronline.com, spent the same thirty dollars, and absolutely fell in love with it within the first week, my next purchase was a Joye Ego Tank atomizer/cartridges I got those from liberty flights. It was $22 shipped. I live in South Carolina, and they ship from California, so it wasn't a next day thing. I received my order 5 business days after I placed it, but had NO PROBLEMS at all with the company, and fell in love with the Tank atty that I ordered, and so did my wife, so much in fact that I ordered TWO Joye Ego-T kits from iVape.net (he's got a great sale on those now $59.99 compared to most peoples $70+) the only thing I might recommend on your first order, is some different ranges of nicotine. My first juice order, was ALL at 16 MG, and it wasn't cutting it, I was still jonsing for a smoke, it wasn't satisfying me, my next order was for 24, and that was just right for me, however since then I also ordered 5 bottles at 36MG, for those times that I'm REALLY stressed, and want a smoke. So I can in a day go from 16mg all the way up to 36. It is ALWAYS good to have options, especially when you can't just walk into a store and buy this stuff, but you can do that with smokes.
Two more suggestions, you might want to order at least one bottle made up of PG, or at least a mix of PG/VG, the PG will make the vapor FEEL moor like smoke, that and it is SO hard to get the straight VG to soak into the pollyfill that is in the carts, it can be as thick as honey at times, that is unless you know you have some sort of allergy to PG that is.
My other suggestion would be to get at least one 30ML bottle of SOMETHING, I almost ran out when I first started vaping, and I didn't want to start smoking at all. In the beginning you won't be able to taste any of the vapes except for menthol, most smokers taste buds are shot, I ended up buying "camel" juice from my first vendor. It was actually called Desert Ship when it arrived. Three weeks later, and I just ordered 240ml of it yesterday, I LOVE the taste. It actually tastes like a pack of camels SMELLS like when you first open it, kinda nutty, earthy, tobaccoey.......
Everyone is different, but these things worked for me.
Me I was a 3-5 pack a day smoker, I'm 39, and had been smoking since I was 13. These things, when done right are absolutely amazing. I don't want to smoke! I never in my life thought I would be able to say that, but the thought of that disgusting thing.....yuck! I love vaping, all these new tastes......and it FEELS like I'm still smoking, but my health is so much better.
I ramble, sorry about that, but good luck! And you will absolutely LOVE your Riva from Liberty Flights.

Re Riva - you could check LiteCigUSA.net, Cignot.com, Liberty-Flights.com, VaporLeaf.com, VaporJunction, Madvapes, Gotvapes, FreedomSMokeUSA - all places where I have bought hardware

BTW I disagree with v2, greensmoke, safecig being places anyone should buy.
V2 - good model (KR808D-1) but they charge too much for carts and parts
Greensmoke - the evil twin of KR808D-1, the KR808D-2 which I think is favored by rebranders because it is incompatible with the more popular normal price widely-available KR808D-1
Safecig - no. Another rebrander who charges too much like $30 for a battery you can probably get elsewhere for $10 if it is RN4081. It may be an RN4081 and if not you are stuck with Safecig for parts and carts

Bloog and Vapor4Life are fine - KR808D-1 and reasonable prices for rebranders, and you have the option of buying generic KR808D-1 parts from US shops at normal prices

Unfortunately the very top level of ecigs sales that is very visible on the web, with "testimonials" and "reviews" is very seedy.

I totally agree with what she says about those brands, I was just afraid I would let emotion get the best of me, and I would lose my temper if I said something.I absolutely hate that so many people go down a road filled with scheisters. I personally am dealing with something that is LIFE AND DEATH, and nothing but the absolute best information should do, (a wise person once said that "The good is the enemy of the best", and that might be what I'm trying to say here) if you are talking about somebody that may only give e-Ciggarettes one try.....what if that one try is with one of those "FREE E-CIGGARETTE" people (it might be "free", but then they rip people off with a recurring monthly bill for their cartomizer's that cost up to 1000% more then they are worth), I look at it like this. If I were to steer a man torwards something that was not "the best at this time" and pointed him/her towards one of those scams, and the man/woman. Hates everything about that inferior product, and continues smoking, they will eventually DIE FROM THAT DECISION THAT I MADE, and if that happens, I feel like I am 100% culpable in their death, it would be just as if I put a gun to their head and pulled the trigger myself. That is truly how I believe, and the reason why I come off a little harsh at times when talking about a first purchase.
, I WASTED well north of $300.00, I have not worked since August, I'm lucky that I had enough money to buy what I needed to actually quit, but what if I didn't? I would have been stuck with something that would only last for two hours AT THE MOST with out needing another two hours charging, and during that charging time, I couldn't VAPE.
And that would be the reason why I wasn't going to wade into that discussion, but it seems like I did anyway. Hopefully the person making those recommendations is new, and absolutely believes what he/she was saying, the whole Boge picture, and offer of 15% off says otherwise to me........
My wife says I can be besides longwinded, way to harsh, and come off in the wrong way that makes me look like a donkey. Well maybe that is the case at times, but I do believe what I stated about putting greed over a human life.
Sorry I couldn't keep my mouth shut.
