I can't believe how much Everything in vaping had exploded. I always meant to come to this forum but never took the time. Back in 2009 when I tried my first e-cig (smoke assist $70 for 2 pathetic batteries and 10 cartos smallest carto and battery ever) I did not yet feel that the product was anything more than a novelty item. Every now and then I would see a Blu ecig ad and wonder if they were any better. I finally got fed up with having to go outside for a smoke and one day I stopped at a Sunocco gas/mini mart station and there was a display of ecigs. They looked like they were worth a try as they were much bigger than the dinky ones I ordered out of one of those snail-mail sell everything catalogues. They were called eco-cigs. Very long and boring story short I vaped them and still smoked analog cigs but over about 18 months I very slowly started smoking less and vaping more. I got down to 5 smokes a day and vaped more often. Then one day it felt like I enjoyed vaping more than smoking so right there right then I made the decision to stop smoking. It was Wednesday March 13th around noon and it was the last cig I have ever had. All because of an ecig from a gas station. I ordered my ecigs online then because I could buy in larger quantities. Not knowing how I ended up there I found myself watching this guy doing reviews. I could not believe how much change there was in the amount of devices that were available. Every thing I said that I would not buy....I bought. I went through this crazy process of going from cigalikes to ego type batteries with prefilled cartos and as I thought at that time I never wanted to get those big mod things I saw everyone using online. I smoked for OVER 20 YEARS and thought that I HAD to use a device that looked and felt like a real cig. I did change my mind and now I have many mods variable mods and mechanical. I live to vape! I watch 3 or 4 people on a regular basis for reviews. My best days are the ones when I get a package in the mail with vapor goodies inside. For me being a vapor hardcore did not save me money compared to smoking but I dove in and it is more than just something to keep me from smoking and also more than a hobby but if one wants to quit smoking there are certainly ways to do it for less money than analog cigarettes. So to all reading this or if anyone ever reads this...hello to all of my fellow Vapors and this was my story explaining how I got to where I am as a Vaper and it is also my first post on The ECF
