Welcome to ECF kathie,
You can find much encouragement and support here. Read every thread you can and keep on reading. I'm still learning and hope I never stop. I quit smoking after 40 years on day 2 of vaping. Granted, I used 36mg nicotine, but it still beats those nasty cigarettes.
Purchase wisely...and you will be happy.
Best of luck and visit here often. :thumb: vapor:

Glad to hear you are ready and taking that first step to purchase a PV. I quit analogs just one week ago. I was afraid that I could not do it, even though I made up my mind I needed to quit smoking. The 36mg nic made it easy. Just don't be afraid to vape whenever you feel the need. Don't try to make your vaping time the same as your smoking time. If you lit up a cig every hour do not make yourself wait the hour before vaping. Just let your body tell you when you need to hit the vape!
Good luck, and keep up posted.

Good choice (KR808D-1). Only downside is I don't think Bloog offers manual batteries. If you decide to add a manual battery to your collection see Vapor4Life.com for the nice colored ones or many multibrand vendors for basic white/steel KR808D-1 batteries. I use manuals - I think most people on the forum do. You can also use the cartomizers at Vapor4Life. So far I am most fond of their WOW Vanilla and WOWbacco (a very cocoa tobacco)

Be sure to get some juice when you order. Some good flavors for refilling just about any flavor carto are vanilla, chocolate, and just about any tobacco flavor - the new flavor will blend with the original one and eventually take over as the main flavor. Never let your cartos run dry - you could singe the stuffing and shorten it's life - it would taste bad. I add juice whenever the vapor gets light. And I carry a spare capped carto with me in case I need it or just for variety.

My favorite juice vendors are Backwoods Brew (Casablanca and Vanilla Bean) and FreedomsmokeUSA (various including Cocoa to tough up weak tobacco flavors) and Velvet Vapors (Vanilla Almond Tobacco - very vanilla and not much tobacco, and Raspberry Ginger Ale)
